Nina is the best! Always come out of her salon looking fab. She's very good at understanding what type of style/cut/color you want for your hair and everyone here is so nice. The salon is beautifully decorated, easy to get to, and just has a very relaxing atmosphere. I'm the type who likes to "experiment" with my hair, and she's the type who knows how to fix it. I did home coloring twice in one day; first red, then attempted to bleach it. It turned into orange straw of course (what was I thinking?). When I left Nina's, it was platinum blonde and soft as silk. Prices are excellent also, and there are plenty of services to choose from. I even take my mother here, she loves Nina and her hair always turns out great; its a real treat for her. I highly recommend Nina's Salon of Beauty to everyone and have taken friends there too. I also really admire her for following her dreams and opening up her own salon.
I don't get my hair cut often and because I had a bad experience at a local salon a long time ago, I had decided I'd stick to mall "chain" salons. However, someone from the barber shop that I get my son's hair cut at recommended I go to Alex Cutz and More to get my hair cut. Initially I had a lot of trouble finding it because Google maps had me going the opposite direction for whatever reason, but finally found it across the street from the Atascocita Lutheran Church. The woman who cut my hair was super courteous and sweet. I had a lot of hair, and wanted to cut a significant amount of it. She did exactly what I asked her to. I will definitely be going to this salon from now on.
