They are very nice people work there

Now that Rite Aid is Walgreens, stay away. Terrible service, no attention to detail and you will wait for your prescription.

I received the auto-alert (Feb 12, 20) that my Rx was ready. For the last several years my two monthly Rx are on the same cycle. Rite Aid calls, I go in and they are ready. Convenient.

Not WALGREENS. They called, I went in (Feb 15, 20) and was told they needed 30 minutes to fill the Rx. I ran errands, went back after 45 mins and was told they needed 10 minutes. After 15 minutes they called my name on the store intercom and the pharmacist then informed me that one was ready, the other wouldn't be available for 2-3 more days. I explained my excellent experience with Rite Aid and the auto-alert. The pharmacist with arrogance and condescension explained they called for the one Rx that was ready, not for the other. The Rx they didn't have is the one I really need and was now beyond the 30 day renewal date. Do they not pay any attention to the dates on Rx? Do they not as part of the service they provide ensure that the Rx that people need on specific dates are in the store? I've been going to that Rite Aid store for 10 years for these two Rx. No issues.

I will not return to this store WALGREENS, EVER. The pharmacist (who was new to the store) was terrible. I usually grin, bear it and get beyond it. Not with this guy. I registered a complaint with their corporate office, explaining that they lost a 10-year customer to their competition because of him and his lack of ability to serve the public.
