Four years ago, we bought a Fleetwood Southwind from Best Preowned RV. I have never worked with a company like this. They stand behind their coach's, if something is wrong anywhere on the RV, it is taken care of prior to delivery. After we bought the motor home, a couple of months later we had a squeak that just did not sound right. Never thinking that they would check it ( we had not bought a maintenance contract,) muchless fix it, we called to see if they would service it if we took it in. Within a two hour period, they sent a technician to our home to check it out and fix the minor problem. That certainly shocked us when they did not charge us for the service. It shocked us most when they actually sent a tech to our home which is quite a distance from their lot. We kept the coach for quite a while with absolutely no problems. We were amazed at the service we got from Marilyn and Kevin. After 4 years, we have decided to purchase a newer, larger coach. Periodically, we would stop by the lot to see what they had in inventory. They did not have exactly what we wanted on site but Marilyn offered to have Kevin find one at the auction just like we wanted. This past week, she called to let us know that Kevin had come back with this beautiful coach that she was sure was the one we would like. Immediately when we saw the Monaco Windsor, it looked as though it was special ordered just for us. We will be picking it up real soon. At the time we went to look at it, Kevin had just gotten back with it. They do not let a coach go off the lot without EVERYTHING working and he had not had time to do the check up on the unit. They are also putting new hardwood floors throughout the coach, changing all the batteries and putting all brand new tires on the rig, included in the sales price. We want a new mattress in the RV, Marilyn has agreed to sell us one at her cost. I am sure we will keep this for four or five years and will go back again when it is time to trade. We love to go visit there, always feel welcome, they are the type of folks you want to call your friends. We own our own company and know that it feels so nice when our customers take the time to write a review to help others feel comfortable in dealing with us. Anytime we have a friend looking to purchase an RV, we make sure they go talk to Marilyn first.We plan to buy a warranty this time, but definately will take it to Kevin for any services we need. Reviews After trying to sell our big Class A motorhome by ourselves for several months, and then having a contract with a large dealer in TX to sell it on consignment for 6 months (receiving no inquiries about it through them), we discovered Best Preowned RV, and they had buyers ready and waiting for us to get it moved to their lot. Fortunately for us, a couple who had already seen it and been interested it and finding out more about it contacted us directly, indicating they were wanting to buy. I explained all that to Marilyn while my husband was on the way down to Houston with the motorhome, and she graciously altered our agreement to sell for a flat fee, which relieved us of all that involved paperwork and money transfer. Bottom line, she more than earned that fee. After over a year on our part (in this bad economy), our big, expensive motorhome (with big monthly payments for us - still) was sold. It was far from a single "cash" deal, but she handled all the numerous details, which I know was not an easy job. She cared and had patience, and worked continuously to get it all done. These are qualities we always look for when buying (or selling) something larger than say, a vacuum cleaner, for instance. I rarely rate a product or service, but Marilyn, Kevin, and their Best Preowned RV deserve to have people know how well they take care of their clients. By the way, we did check on their credentials before we contacted them, as we always do when considering an important event financially, and they came through with flying colors, A-1 on all accounts. I had an accident with my motorhome while travelling thru Houston TX on a weekl-end. Feltons RV Service drove 20 miles on Monday morning, acessed the damage, drove the coach back to their shop and repaired it within 4 days. They even allowed me to stay in the coach on their property and provided 50 amp service and water hook-ups for me. The finished roduct was excellent. Mitch, the owner and his staff could not have been nicer or more helpful to me. I would highly recommend this shop for any repairs needed on any make or model RV.
