As a long term client of Joe Mastriano, P.C. and a business owner myself, I can tell you that this firm has always provided timely services and has helped me avoid an audit when my deductions may not have met all the rules. Those of you wanting experienced advice that will help you save money, do a consultation and see for yourself. I highly recommend this firm for all your tax needs. A little story. I owed over 1 million to the IRS for payroll tax. They helped me set up a new corporation and cut the liability in half. I had talked to other attorneys about what can be done. They wanted to file a bankruptcy. I then contacted some of the top Google search results that came up after I typed in "IRS problem help" "tax problem attorney". I found out that many are not even law firms or CPA firms. They are full of sales people who kept asking me for my credit card information promising me results without really understanding my situation. What I really liked about Joe was that he has a low priced in depth meeting where he explains how to deal with the IRS. How to really avoid an audit. He also know every rule to follow to avoid levies. When I called to IRS they were able to confirm that everything he told me was correct. Although, they were quick to try to say they would take care of me and that I didn't need to hire anyone. So, I was confident that I wanted to have Joe Mastriano, P.C. work my case, even though I know several competent attorneys that I've worked with before. If you have any tax issues you have to see this guy. I don't know anyone who spent over 30 years dealing with IRS matters like he has.

Earlier this year I was shocked to find out that my husband was in deep trouble with the IRS. We've been living separated for the last year but we were still legally married. He was the one who moved out of the house, so one day I get a notice from the IRS about them levying some of our properties, including the house where I was living in. You can imagine my shock, I had no idea we owed any taxes. I was so mad, but managed to clear my head enough to figure I'm never gonna get the whole truth out of George so I decided to follow my own best interest and protect myself from whatever he got himself into. I was also afraid I'm going to loose my home and everything I worked for to the IRS. I did a lot of research over the Internet and finally came upon Joe Matriano's website, and read his innocent spouse advice, which convinced me I needed to hire his professional services. It turns out my husband was in much bigger trouble than I imagined, but luckily most of that trouble he "earned" before we got married so Joe managed to save part of our commonly owned assets, including my home which was that only thing I really cared about. Needless to say that the next thing I did was to get a proper divorce as fast as possible, and I haven't been in contact with George ever since, I'm just happy I got to keep my home and that I can move on with my life. So I want to thank Joe and everyone in his firm for being so helpful and understanding with me, I sincerely recommend them to anyone going through any kind of tax or IRS problems.
I had not filed my taxes properly for a couple of years now, didn't care much for doing so nor did I ever have any concerns about the IRS knocking on my door. This summer I started receiving letters from the IRS, which I was foolish enough to ignore, till a few months ago when I got slapped with an IRS audit notice. Obviously I didn't have a clue as to what to do, went through a great deal of panic and I'd lie if I'd say I wasn't a bit scared, so I asked around and one of my friends recommended I called this CPA guy Joe Mastriano. I've never hired such services before in my life, and I had my doubts about paying, what seamed to me at that time, a pretty large fee, to have someone deal with the IRS for me. My friend talked me into it, and it was probably the best decision I ever made. It was a difficult time for me but with Joe's help I managed to get through the IRS audit and came out pretty well out of it too. Now I realize that were it not for Joe's help, the IRS would have probably ripped me apart for all the money that I had, and then some. Now I have a much better respect for filing taxes and especially for people that have to face the IRS on a daily basis, and I think Joe's fees reflect the value of his services and are a reasonable investment that can literally save your life's earnings. Thanks again Joe, and also thank your assistant for having so much patience with me, I know I'm a difficult person to work with.
