Great value for the product

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon, and the restaurant was pretty full. This is a buffet restaurant. There are two buffet lines, so it moves fairly quickly. The choices are many. The soup, bread, desserts are located in a different area, which minimizes crowding. The busboys worked their area well, quickly cleaning tables AND wiping off the seats (thank you!). The atmosphere is simple. At 4:00 p.m., prices change to dinner menu. Ample parking. A great value for those on a budget or just wanting buffet.

Good Stuff

I ate there for the first time the other day and I was skeptical because it's a salad buffett, but it was actually really good. It reminds me of a buffett style version of La Madelines. They have like 8 different kinds of soups and a bakery and hot pastas. Their specialty salads are good too. It's like $8 a person but when you compare it to how much you would pay for a pasta plate or ceasar salad at any other restaurant, like the Olive Garden or something, then it ends up being very reasonable.

My absolute favorite restaurant!

Sweet Tomatoes is my favorite place to eat! It's the only place in town, that I know of, that is so delicious and healthy too! I feel like I have been actually nourished as well as just fed. The soups are the best anywhere, the salad selection is really fantastic as well. And the breads and muffins are to die for! They also have wonderful pasta dishes, and, of course, their delicious desserts! It's making my mouth water, just thinking about it! It's also a great place for kids. Whenever we take our grandkids with us, they love to be able to choose exactly what they want. Also, we know they are getting really healthy, as well as delicious food. My husband and I actually live in Katy so it's a bit of a drive over! We hope they build a new restaurant closer to us. But until they do, it's worth the drive :-) Juliearleen

Freshest salsd and soups!

My girlfriend and I make it a special treat to go to Sweet Tomatoes. The food is extremely fresh and delicious! We love the homemade bread, salads, soups, dressings and special of the month. If you were closer to our work location, we would go more often. Thanks for giving us an excellent selection to eat at!

Awesome memories/ Awesome food!!!!

Sweet Tomatoes happens to be my family's favorite place to eat. Our oldest two children left for the Navy and Sweet Tomatoes happens to be in the same parking area as the Navy office, so after many meetings prior to leaving for bootcamp, we would meet and eat at what has now become our new favorite restraunt. \r There is such a variety and often there are new things to try, which appeals to everyone in my family. It's difficult sometimes to find a place that appeals to each of our tastes and is healthy and is very economical and fits within our budget.\r Sweet Tomatoes will always hold a special place within my family,THANKS!!!!! The service is great but a bit crowded on Sunday afternoon....hum, not surprising why :o)

Always a good variety of fresh salads. I particularly like the broccoli salad.\r We really like the variety of soups. There is always something new to try.\r The entire restaraunt is always clean throughout and the tables are cleaned promptly.

Perfect for families

Sweet tomatoes is our ""go-to dinner"" spot anytime I don't feel like cooking. First, it's our 3 year old's favorite resturant--he requests it at least once a week. I can stick to my diet easily with all the salad choices and low calorie soups. The baby munches on chick peas, kidney beans, tomatoes, fresh chicken, cheese, breads and jello FOR FREE!!!! My husband loves the pastas, pizza and salads. The whole family can enjoy a healthy dinner with drinks and dessert for under $30. The food is fresh and tasty, the staff loves kids and is friendly and the bathrooms smell nice. We LOVE Sweet Tomatoes.

I absolutely love this place...enough parking, nice area, good employees, and variety of food! I go at least once a week and don't get tired of it since there's so many choices. The only thing I'm not fond of is how cold it is, since I'm always cold :)

Healthy but feels sinful

There is so much healthy and fresh food that it will feel sinful when you leave stuffed! The salad is the best anywhere (and we have tried about every place in Houston)...... and the different breads melt in my mouth! The soups are wonderful and I don't really like soups! My husband eats pizza while I go for the fresh pasta. You know it is fresh because they are cooking right in front of the customers!\r \r The service and staff are very nice!\r \r I thought the place didn't have very many customers - because I didn't know the parking & front door was in the rear of the property. This place is busy ALL the time for a reason - great food! And busy means always fresh food!

Best Salad Buffet in Texas!

Our family (3 children 6 - 13) visit this restaurant bi-weekly and all of us enjoy the many varieties of fresh salads/soups/pasta/pizza. We all like the changing of the monthly items. The cooks are always accommodating and there is always an abundance of food available. The unlimited drinks are a great add-on too. The desert buffet is great.

Healthy Buffet

This is a great place to meet for a fast lunch that is healthy. Everyone can find something with the wide variety of salad, soups, and freshly made pastas. If you go for dinner there is a nice lady that walks around passing out cookies and there is a dessert included on the bar. Great change of pace.

Healthy good food

I love Sweet Tomatoes. They have a good selection of freshly cooked pasta and a pretty good selection of salad. The pizza and foccacia is questionable. Some days it is good, and some days it is really cold. I love the soft serve ice cream with caramel. Talk about yummy.
