The office employee refused to give me my car for several hours until I called the police. She stated that my title and insurance did not show proof of ownership, which in fact my name is on both. She used profanity with me and closed the window several times in my face. I asked her to be reasonable and cordial because I have a headache from the concussion I have suffered, and she became increasingly hostile. She stated that "oh you don't remember what I'm telling you but you remember you have a concussion" after I stated that I don't remember all of the documents she asked for. I asked her to repeat the documents to me and she refused because "I should just Remember what she said". When I went into the lot to check for my insurance card and returned to the gate, it was closed and latched. I unlatched the gate from the inside and pulled and pushed on the door. I had to call my husband on his cell phone to open the door from the other side. She laughed and said "all she has to do is push". I was in a wreck and have muscle spasms and a concussion, but I was required to be present in order for my car to be released. I've never felt more degraded, humiliated, or mistreated in my life. The only reason I gave this place one star is because it's required. I recorded the entire incident on my cell phone and plan to submit it to the TDLR.
