        Prostitution, drug deals, car repairs & rude owners

        If you're into that, stay here! My husband chose this motel because of the proximity to his temporary (1 year) work assignment. We have a suite (king bed/1.5 bath/kitchenette) which worked for my husband since he doesn't spend that much time in the room, but it DOES NOT work for me when I come to stay!



        Outdated rooms, decades old toilet seats, mouse droppings in the half bath and the smell of mildew is too much for me! Then there's the issue of things going missing...change from the bedside table, kitchen items we brought from home, an expensive leather belt (of all things - who steals a belt?)



        For over a week now people have been coming and going working on an old car (dumping antifreeze on the parking lot,revving the engine smelling up our room with oil/gas, leaving trash) right in front of our door. When I informed the mgmt, I was asked if they were guests...how would I know? I explained dumping toxic chemicals was illegal and subject to high fines. "This is private property" was the response. While I was in the office I heard another guest complaining about security as the reason he was checking out early.



        Then there are the cars I see while walking my dog that come and go within minutes in the back corner of the lot...drug deals. WAIT IT GETS BETTER! Although I haven't witnessed the prostitution myself, my husband told me that within days of his arrival, there was a knock on the door...the "lady" inquired if he wanted a "date".



        As soon as I can manage it WE ARE OUTTA HERE!



        If you are staying for a single night...well I guess The Memorial Inn & Suites would do in a pinch (just kidding - it's A PIT!!)
