DISGUSTING AND RUDE MANAGER!

The food is DISGUSTING AND THE MANAGER IS RUDE! I had the Super Tex Mex Plate and was so looking forward to it. They must be using ""FAKE"" cheddar cheese on everything, because it was not tex-mex and was aweful. It tasted like some made up low cost fake cheese. I called the Manager today to tell him about my opinion of the cheese, and he yelled at me and told me he didn't use ""Fake Cheese"". He said he could if he wanted to because it is much cheaper! First of All,I don't like being yelled at when I am the paying customer being polite and offering advice. Second, I don't like being yelled at. I WILL NEVER GO BACK and hope you don't either. The food is DISGUSTING and the management is RUDE!

Well I go here every week and they got the bomb margaritas there so GOOD and CHEAP and the food is good too for being Tex Mex, but the margaritas are what you want to come here for you can get a really good buzz off 15 to 20 dollars there Awesome! This restaurant has the best Mexican food recipes in Houston. It's right up there with Pappasitos, and that's saying a lot. The margaritas are great too, they are very authentic. I usually get the appetizer sampler and a Heradura Margarita.

Fraud again! They added extra onto my debit. I tried calling, they said manager was busy. I will call back again but I wasn't to surpised to see someone else had this same problem. I will never go back and I will make sure others know that they add onto the bill we signed..My bill was 11.09 I signed, it came though my account as13.31..doesn't sound like much but when they do it to more people , it all adds up! I gave a cash tip and it was more than I should of given. They do commit fraud..someone needs to have this stop! \r Called this morning, manager said it was the system they use does that. SO everyone be warned, the price you sign may show as more? Mmmmmm wonder , does everyones ticket show this truly? Will update you on whether my price I show at my bank keeps at that price or the price of 13.33 or the one I should of paid 11.09.

My first time eating @ Marco's was 6.5 years ago when I got hitched. It exceeded my expectations by a long shot. It is the best chance on food I could have taken. The only bad thing is that I tend to over-indulge when I dine there. You would too because it is so good! Don't take my word for it until you try irt yourself. I refuse to visit Houston without dining @ marco's! Actually, I will be dining there very soon. Just go and ENJOY!!!!

Great customer service, not so great food

It was my first time eating here and the staff was very friendly and the food service was very fast. I had the enchilada plate and there was way too much cheese. The salsa was good, but had a ketchup after taste. I also tried the margarita, but it had a whole lot of tequila that gave me an instant headache. Overall,service was excellent, but food could be better.

We are students and me and my friend went to eat at the restaurant last evening. We had a bill of 24.89 and i paid with my credit card and made it $27.00 including tips. There is an young guy who served us. He has tampered the bill and increased the amount to $29.87 and it has been charged to my credit card. It is not a question of few more dollars. Question of dishonesty. When i called the restaurant this morning, they sounded very unprofessional and avoiding. I will go to that extent to teach a leeson to the waiter. Be aware of thes frauds at this restaurant. I will never ever in my life go to that place again.

I make it a point to go to Marco's every time I go to Houston. It is conveniently located close to M.D. Anderson so it's always a treat to have an outstanding blended margarita and warm chips with guacamole. I've tried several dishes and can't yet say I have a ""favorite"" because they have all been great. I took my family along with me last time and they confirmed it is truly a nice place to go to when you're hungry and leave STUFFED. Very friendly service. Only once was it so crowded that it took a little longer to get our food, which allowed me time for another heavenly margarita. I've been there 5 times now and it keeps calling me back. Another frozen margarita please!!

Me and my family have been the biggest fans of Marcos for over 10 years now. The food is just amazingly delicious, they dont make up for some bland enchiladas with some fancy display of the food. its just tasty! and the prices are affordable too, by far the BEST tasting Mexican food Ive ever had.

Cheap atmosphere, but prices are of a very good mexican restaurant (apparently they have increased them recently - they were pasted in next to the previous ones). The worst of all was service: the waiter couldn't wait to take our plates WHILE we were still eating; the bill was placed on the table right in the spilt water; and the waiter reached for the payment OVER our plates that we were still working on (and it was only around 7 pm on Sunday, they claimed they were closing at 9). The food was so-so, but the portion size was small. We felt like we were rushed to leave, although the restaurant was empty and we were there for 30 min only. The worst restaurant experience we had.
