We really enjoy going to Lucky's Pub for lunch, and hit it occasionally for dinner when we are going to a game or a concert at Warehouse. Good food, fun place.

We go there all the time as the atmosphere is amazing and fun.The staff are fun too.

I've eaten at Lucky's several times and thoroughly enjoyed my experience there. A casual atmosphere. The waitstaff is welcoming and service is prompt. The dinner menu features, among other things, a variety of burgers, sandwiches, and off the wall items, which are very reasonably priced. The servings are generous and quite tasteful! The beer selection is one of the best in the city and there is always a special! For a relaxing and pleasant evening out among friendly people, I would recommend Luckys to anyone.

This bar is huge with tons of different rooms Went to the Astros game, got to park for free in Lucky's parking lot, got a $1 domestic draft(their special during the Astros games!), and then caught their free shuttle to the game. What a great idea! I'm gonna have to setup a happy hour in their lounge soon!

Met my friends there for a happy hour event. The food was really good - especially their pizza - it was awesome. The servers were great too, there were about 40 in our group and we all had great service. The place was packed, it's a lot bigger on the inside than it looks like from the outside - everyone seemed to be having fun - I know I did.\r \r And, they have free parking behind their building and across the street. I'll be back !

We've went a few times during ""off"" daytime hours for a quick beer while we were out walking. Service was great but the pint glasses were ""soapy"" so we ordered canned cheap beer on special.\r \r We went once during a busy time at night, and it was a madhouse. We tried getting a beer at the bar, but failed after a few minutes and just went home.\r \r We're thirty-somethings, and the night crowd didn't really suit us well anyways. It's not a ""pub""....it's a huge college sports bar, IMHO. Not that a big frat party is a terrible thing, just not usually where I hang out at night.\r \r One afternoon we tried the burgers and fries, and they were great. But, they were VERY expensive. Add a slice of cheese, fries, a beer or two, and the tip, and you're looking at $20 each for lunch. I guess all the people from the suburbs in for the ball games are used to paying that much, so they get away with those prices. Downtown/EaDo locals know better. ;)\r \r Very spacious...I'm sure we'll swing in there again one afternoon just for some beers with friends.

Anywhere that carries PBR is saying something. Huge 21 foot HD screen for the games, TVs all over, great front porch, huge patios all around. Pizza is awesome, the new burger is now among the best in town, moist, and loaded with flavor. BLT sliders are just evil, and don't forget the famous Philly Cheessesteak Eggrolls. Great drink specials, the Loft upstairs is sweet, and the back lounge is available for special events of 20 - 50 people. If you go for the catering, Chef Darren can make anything you like. (Sea Bass! in a pub? In a pub!). Did I mention the pizza and beer? I love this place.

This used to be a great hang out. My friends and I have been frequent patrons since its inception for lunch, dinner, happy hours and before and after games. Having said that, in the past the wait staff was friendly, the bartenders were considerate and the owner seem to care about the image the bar had. After having lunch there, we had to go to the bar, the waitress was not attentive, and never came after she was asked. The last straw was after a game, it was busy, we ordered food. After an hour of waiting and not receiving our food, we inquired. We sat and watched the bartender and waitress contend with who was at fault, only for the waitress in the end refusing to serve us. Once a great place to hang out, Lucky's has lost the business of some very loyal customers. Good luck.

First the place is huge; the fact that pub is in the name is very misleading. Second, the crowd is something you would expect to find in the distant suburbs of say Kingwood, or Sugarland. The location is good, I will give it that and the waitstaff is friendly. But with cars being broken into all the time, is security really too expensive?

A great bar to have a couple of drinks before or after the game. Cheapest drinks in the area and ample parking -- in downtown!! The food is pretty good too!

It's amazing how big of a change it makes to go south of 59. Unlike the usual downtown/midtown bars and clubs, I was amazed at how down to earth the staff at this bar was. The waitresses actually have smiles and talk with you, and hold on to your hats- THEY HAVE A FREE PARKING LOT! I know what you're thinking, that can't be, but it's true. Alot of places in downtown just open up and either don't have a parking lot or pretend it's not theirs so they can charge, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Over all, this place was very easy going and huge so you can do your own thing without being elbow to elbow with other people. The air conditioning actually worked too. One little pet peeve I have from sports bars is whether they have HDTV. I noticed this place has a million large LCD/Plasma TV's but I only saw that the one behind the bar was showing ESPN-HD. The rest were just showing a stretched version of regular ESPN. Same with the big screen. I would give 5 stars if it were not for that fact. Guys, this is 2008. HDTV is here to stay. You've spent 10's of thousands of dollars on TV's so why would you not get some HD-Receivers (I don't know if it's satellite or cable or what), and enhance the watching expirience for your customers? It's not a novelty anymore- many people have HDTV's at home now too.

Avoid on Astros Home Game Day! NO happy hour prices (4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.). No disclaimer in their own website about the change. You don't find out about the actual price until you get your bill! Ouch!

What a great place to watch games, relaxing and have a cold beverage. You might go for the sports, beer and darts, but you'll keep coming back for the food. Every time I've been, I think I'll be ordering a burger (which are huge), but always end up ordering something else.....fish tacos, BLT sliders, angel-hair pasta with meatballs and have never been disappointed. Definitely the best bar food in town!! I hat is off to the chef and kitchen staff and I'll be back for more!!

I have to admit, Lucky's is the best place in town to watch a game... or any sporting event for that matter. If sports isn't your thing, try playing their Wii or Guitar Hero II on the 21 foot screen; an experience you wont soon forget. The place is lined with leather sofas, leather chairs and barstools, making a real comfortable feel about the place. The full kitchen puts out some of the best food you will find at a bar/sports bar/pub. The Cheesesteak Eggrolls are a must. With some of the lowest drink prices and friendliest staff in the area, Lucky's is a must.
