To Whom It May Concern:
I am a registered nurse in Houston Texas. I went to this dental office to have $2,783.45 of dental work done. I had a deep cleaning, upper lower crowning performed. I have had dental work done on a regular basis and never had any experience like I had in this facility. I experienced a abnormal amount of swelling in my gums for 2-3 weeks, I called the dental office and stressed my concern and nothing was done for this. Second, I had the deep cleaning one in conjunction with this major dental work, which I believe could have been recommended to do separately. Lastly, after 3 weeks I went in for my appointment to get the crowning completed. The crowning did not fit, and the hygienist did not use proper oral preparation for sanitary oral work. I had to request that she change and also to rinse and use oral cleaning. Lastly, I spoke with the manager Aida Covic. I was shocked with what she told me after I explained what happened to me. Normally, the manager wants to make sure that issues are addressed and there are solutions for the problems. However, this manager was reluctant in listening to my complaint and she gave me the impression that she was closed minded about my pain and problem I experienced. She said, that I am the only one who made a complaint like this, and that in fact I made the hygienist cry and so why am I complaining. No sorry, no pacification, no solution for the issue...nothing. I experience a painful oral procedure and the crowning were not fitted properly, I had swelling in my gums for 2-3 weeks, and the hygienist did not use proper oral cleaning while doing the oral work... and on top of it all it is my fault that a hygienist cry. So all of this I must absorb... and accept this as punishment. No one was concern about my horrible experience. I will file a complaint with the State of Texas (TSBDE), I have no choice since I did not get a resolution or some type of apology. Thank you Lovett Dental
After having a horrendous experience with a nearby dentist in Houston, I switched my primary care dental provider to Lovett on Kirby. They went above and beyond for me. This was by far the best experience with a dental office that I have ever had. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. I was there for an initial visit and was in and out within a half hour after completing paperwork, X-rays, and seeing the provider. Instead of having me return on a separate day for a cleaning, they were able to squeeze me in that same day, and right away! For once I did not feel over-diagnosed or overcharged for the services (if anything, undercharged!)
I am baffled by a rating of anything less than five stars. I would recommend Lovett Dental to anyone.

Been going to Lovett Dental on kirby for years, The new Office Manager Chennel is not only very nice but she explained the procedures to be done in a manner that i was able to understand. the Dental Assistants are very Professional, Dr. Frank explained to me what he is diagnosing and even showed me where i have a cavity on the x-Ray. When i was done with Dr. Frank the assistant walked me up to the front and i spoke with the receptionist about getting a cleaning she said she needed to check her schedule, and low and behold the hygeniest had a cancellation so i was happy with the service and the staff, Will recommend to everyone i know

dentist is not able to communicate. requesting an explaination is considered rude. staff is the rudest ever. this office does not consider the patient's concern at all. they will not hestitat to grind down all your teeth as long as you can't legally charge them. and they dont really like to tell you what exactly they are goign to do. dont beleive what they tell you. go to see a different dentist before making decisions. it is the most unethical service i have ever had.

Today was my first visit to Lovett Dental. I haven't been to a dentist in years, and have a severe anxiety disorder, especially when it comes to going to the dentist. The staff were all very polite, and Dr. Frank, contrary to what other reviewers may have said, was very patient with me, despite the fact that they were busy and short-handed today. He listened very attentively to all my questions, and didn't seem in the least bit of a rush when talking to me. He, and all the staff, were very nice to me, and made me feel comfortable in a situation where I'm normally very uncomfortable. Don't believe the bad reviews. This is a great place to go, especially for those with dental anxiety. And there's ample parking.
