Lakewood Forest Veterinary Hospital

I am a concerned pet owner, and quite possibly an overly sensitive one. That means I take my dog to the vet ALOT. The folks at Lakewood Forest Veterinary are always friendly, willing to help with big and small issues alike, and they never make me feel like just a patient or a number.

The receptionist is engaging, friendly and calming. The intake team is responsive and prompt. The doctors and technicians are always caring and thorough - exactly what I want in my own doctor. I continue to refer everyone I know to Lakewood Forest Veterinary, for emergencies and other care of pets. I have been to other vets in town and elsewhere and believe that Lakewood Forest Veterinary provides the best care - hands down - of any vet. The staff treat all animals like their own. Couldn't ask for better !

I cannot speak highly enough of Lakewood Forest Veterinary. My kitty was having urinary issues and needed to be monitored for quite a few days. The vet techs took him right away to be examined by the doctor. I never had to wait longer than 20 minutes, and was always told exactly what was going on, how he was doing, etc.



It is obvious that the entire staff at Lakewood Forest Veterinary truly love animals, and love their jobs. I completely credit them for saving my cat's life. Thank you!

I don't even know where to start! Dr. Coursey has been Rex & Ryan's doctor since practically the beginning of their life (they're 5 now). Dr. C has seen it all with them and has helped us maintain them in the healthiest state possible using traditional and homeopathic care. Of course I'm biased and think I have the world's best MinPins, but I know it has a lot to do with the great care that Dr. C has given them and us. Our family gives Lakewood Forest Vet four thumbs up and eight paws up!!!

My furkids have been patients at Lakewood Forest Vet for a few years. Dr. C and the rest of the staff shows nothing but love and patience for my high-maintenance, rescue Pug-Mix who is hard to handle. They take their time and never make me feel bad for having a dog who does not exactly behave himself. Of course my non-neurotic animals get the same level of care.

I have been using Lakewood Forest Vet for many years, first for my own 2 cats and more recently for an assortment of dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens that I foster through the Houston Humane Society. Dr. Coursey without exception, is terrific, and I have presented them with many difficult cases over the past few years. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and their fees are reasonable. They are usually able to accommodate me the same day. Highly recommended!!

After reading all of the recommendations and ratings, i tried them. And thank God for ratings!!! They were every bit as good as all of you said they'd be. and I most of the time think these things are fake that are posted on here, but I'm guessing now they're not!!! They took such great care of my pup, and there is no better feeling than when you're babes are taken care of by people who YOU believe care, and aren't just "doing their job". Great, Great place. They are officially the family vet, and I will be referring them too! :)

This is such a good hospital every one is very sweet and they all love animals they treat the animals with lots of respect and I really appreciate that. My chihuahua is very shy but the few time that I have brought her here she feels safe and comfortable.

I just recently switched to this office because I was dissatisfied with my other vet. I started taking my puppy there initially for grooming, but the staff was so knowledgeable that I switched very quickly. They are very interested in what is best for your pet. They don't just do things because that is the way it has always been. They take extra precautionary steps to ensure the safety of the animals. I love how good both the staff AND the vet are with my dog.

Lakewood Forest Veterinary Hospital has a very nice staff, Dr. Coursey is a wonderful vet. They have affordable prices, even providing payment plans. When I got my dog they had seasonal packages around late summer/autumn for spaying/neutering and dental procedures.

This is the place I take my dogs to. From simple checkups to more complex surgeries, Lakewood Forest is an expert at everything! I trust them and my dogs love the staff!

I adopted a cat and wanted to get her declawed before she scratched my brand new leather sofa. I asked my neighbor where she took her cat and she gave me the number to Lakewood Forest Veterinary Hospital. They were really nice on the phone and I brought my cat in the next day. The whole process went smoothly.

I last brought my dog to Lakewood Forest Veterinary to be spayed. I didn't know what to expect but the staff reassured me that all would go well. I had 100% faith in them and sure enough, everything turned out better than okay!

They gave me great advice on how to train my puppy. I also brought my puppy in for a few vaccinations to protect him from infectious diseases. You can never be too safe and I wanted to make sure my puppy was safe. The staff is helping me take care of this puppy and hopefully he grows into a healthy adult!

Close and convenient for me. Fair prices and lots of love for my cats!

I love Lakewood Forest Vet. My wife and I have both dogs and cats and have taken them all to be spayed and neutered and I have always felt that they were very tender with all our animals. The staff is friendly and competent and I would recommend LFV for the needs of your pets The animals thank you too!

Love love love! Just another wonderful review to show my love to all the doctors and team at Lakewood Forest Veterinary. They took exceptional care of my 19 year old cat up to her last days and now take care of my new kitten. Every time I go there I am greeted with warmth and respect. Everyone is super understanding of my financial situations and they always try to work with me on my limited scheduling as well. I absolutely love this place and now my mom does too.
