I had a very unpleasant encounter with some members of your distribution team on Friday June 1, 2012. I had parked in the Commons parking garage at the TMC and so that I would be able to go to class/work, at Md Anderson where I am obtaining my PhD, and make it to a very important seminar on south campus. I was on a very tight time constraint, when I went back to get my car at 12:15 I found that a large truck had illegally double parked blocking my car so that I could not back out. I called the garage security and with their assistance we were still unable to get my car out. About this time a group of three members of the Houston Sun team came out to the truck and refused to move the vehicle, and one member took more papers and left. All that they were very politely asked to do was back up the truck so that I could move and then they could re-park. They refused and began making comments that I felt were very unprofessional, such as ""that little white girl just can't drive"". After 30 minutes of sitting in the truck they finally decided to back out when they were notified that UT police had been called. They continued to give me dirty looks, and never offered an apology for parking so that I could not move my vehicle. Needless to say I was not able to attend the seminar because of this incident.
