I have never written a review before but I feel it's my social responsibility ro share my experience. In sum, my husband saw a discharge crawling on the buffet near the fried okra. He told me about it and then I went over to make sure he wasn't just overreacting to a nat or fruit fly. Sure enough, it was definitely a discharge...a very brave discharge indeed because it did not flee as we gawked in disgust. We immediately walked over to the cashier and asked for a refund. She had to call a manager. As we waited for management, my husband took out his phone to record the roach but the cashier killed it with a dish towel that she was using to wipe down tables. Ugh! The manager did not speak English which may explain why we were not given any form of an apology. We did however, get our money back afyer the manager was no longer "busy". I am still in disbelief as to how nonchalant the staff was about a ROACH being on the FOOD BUFFET. I am disgusted and i plan to contact Golden Corral's corporate office as well as the department of health.
