Normally, I read reviews and never really post them. This being my first time experience, I felt it was necessary to post. Like the other reviews, I can not say enough good things about Cyndi.\r My nerves were getting the best of me and my husband couldn't join me which made it things worse. She made me feel extremely comfortable from the moment we met. She was all about technique, go at your own pace & being extremely sanitary while informing me every step of the way what was going on. I even texted her the next day and she responded within minutes which made me feel even better about the experience. I will go back and highly recommend her to anyone, first timers or experienced - GO, you won't regret it. :)

Cyndi is amazing! I've been getting my waxes with her since April 2011 and I am so glad I decided to branch out from my normal salon and try someone closer to me. Cyndi's technique offers the least painful Brazilian I've ever had...even while I was pregnant, the waxes were completely tolerable! I saw that another commenter said that Cyndi offers discounts to people who leave comments, but I've been offered nothing except the best waxes I've ever had. Give her a try, you won't be disappointed!

I have only been getting a brazilian wax since April and went to a salon for my first couple of times... I named the lady that I had been going to the ripper...time for a new experience...... A friend of mine suggested that I try Divine Skin Car and Wax studio... BEST experience and customer service I could ask for!!! Cyndi is awesome and so professional. I will continue to use her for Brazilian waxes and plan to try the other services she offers!!

Not just a massage

Okay, I've had massages and everybody always raves about how good their therapist was but, as Cyndi told me when I went to here, there's always been something lacking. A massage is supposed to be something that heals you completely. Mind, body and SOUL. This is NOT just a physical massage but an experience that soothes your spirit too. Cyndi named her business the DIVING skin care and wax studio for a reason. Cyndi is a very talented and loving person who does an excellent job of not just meeting your physical needs by applying her exception skills in massage and reflexology but also helps you to heal spiritually. No matter what your spiritual beliefs are, Cyndi will help you to (if anything) reevaluate your life as it was when you walked into your studio and help you place new perspective on things. As she said to me, ""I realized that God was missing from the whole process."" Well, I commend her because she has truly made this more than just a physical experience but a spiritual one too. I will definitely be paying her more visits.

I have been to other wax studios and had some terrible experiences, but Ms. Cindy is by far the best! I'm sure you can read the other reviews and see that we all say the same thing. It's because it's true! She makes you feel so relaxed. It is a calming enviroment. She makes you feel so comfortable, like she is your friend. Each time you go it gets better. I have had a Brazilian by her and will continue to go back. She uses a wax that only sticks to the hair. Truely an amazing experience!

I've had several brazilian waxes before and this was by far the best. Cyndi is very personable and made me feel completely at ease and comfortable. It's the smoothest I have ever been after a wax. She even recommended something for ingrown hairs that worked amazing! If you are brand new to brazilians or have been getting them for a while, I recommend you go see Cyndi.

My wax didn't live up to the reviews...

With all the great reviews I figured it couldn't hurt to try it, and while I wasn't burnt, scarred, or traumatized, it really wasn't that great. :( The business is out of Cyndi's house and the studio/room isn't all that bad. I have decided, though, that I prefer a more formal setting (read formal as crisp and clutter free, not doctor's office sterile). For those that are nervous about Brazilians, though, this might be a great feature for you. Cyndi will try to make you feel right at home. Cyndi offered to explain her techniques and products and made some aftercare suggestions without making me feel guilty for not buying a new product. Again, if you're nervous, this is a great feature, but I've always just asked other waxers my questions and they are just as happy to explain it all to me. Cyndi's wax didn't really hurt any more or less than most other waxes I've had, and I didn't notice any burns or skin lifting the next day. Unfortunately, what I did notice is that the majority of my hair wasn't actually pulled out of my skin. Most of my hair was just broken off at the surface or not removed at all. I've never had this happen before, but once the redness went down and I'd had a chance to survey the results, I noticed how much hair was left and how much looked like it had already been growing back for weeks (or shaved the day before). Blame it on fine hair or whatever you like, but I won't be making it my normal 6-8 weeks before I get another Brazilian (I haven't even made 2 weeks and I'm already trying to decide which day I have time). To Cyndi's credit, she did mention before I left that if I noticed any hair left the next day to stop back by and she'd take care of it. With the amount left and the sensitive nature of my skin, I didn't feel it was worth the trip (plus, more waxing wasn't going to remove hairs that short). There is only one other word of warning I'd like to mention...While I COMPLETELY understand this marketing/advertisement tactic, it seems more fair to let the reader know that Cyndi does offer a discounted service to her customers that log in and give her a review. I'm not saying the reviews are falsified or anything of that nature. I would have just liked to know that the reviews may have been incentive based.

I went to Cyndi to have my first Brazilian wax. I was nervous but thought I would give it a try after reading all the reviews. Cyndi is such a sweet lady and she makes you feel extremely comfortable. She talks to you through the whole process and asks you frequently to describe the pain level. She has several techniques and tips to help this experience be a better one. I went to Cyndi for my first brazilian. As a student of skin are, and estiology, I was EXTREMELY picky and worried about who I was going to go to. The wax Cyndi used was wonderful, it didnt burn my skin or rip my skin. It is a peaceful calming environment that you can feel very safe and comfortable in. Cyndi is very professional and really knows her information on each client's type of skin, and personal situtations. I was very scared to get a brazilian and when it was done I was so excited. I will never go anywhere else but to Cyndi from now on for ALL my skin care/massage needs.

I have never had a Brazilian before and was relieved to find that Cindi uses a special wax that doesn't grab skin, and she helps you relax as well. I have gotten two from her now, and will continue to visit her. I have also gotten a chemical peel and microdermabraision, which worked out nicely. Cindi talks you through every procedure and lets you kow what's going to happen. I also took Cindi's advice and started taking vitamin C, Collagen for hair, skin and nails, and using a natural mud mask once a week, so we'll see how that works. The microderm and chemical peel was only $99!

I have been going to Cyndi now for a few months. I have been getting her body wraps which are detoxifying for me. I notice softer, tighter skin and some inch loss.\r Her facials & chemical peels are awesome! I have been getting the ultrasonic face lifts as well. I have noticed lifting and less wrinkles around my eyes! \r Cyndi is also great at making you feel totally comfortable and relaxed. She is a doll!! I would highly recommend Divine Skin Care for your skin care, massage and waxing needs!

My First Wax

After years of shaving I decided to get my first wax. I wasn’t for sure what to expect, but I finally made the appointment and am forever grateful!!!!\r Cyndi made me feel extremely comfortable and did a wonderful job. My first visit to Divine was for my very first ""modified"" Brazilian. Cyndi made me feel comfortable and at ease helping me decide what was best for me. I was prepared for it to be painful but it wasn't. She uses wax that doesn't stick to the skin. It was a very good first experience. I have also had 2 body wraps. The wraps are very relaxing and I leave feeling refreshed. They have helped tone and soften my skin. It has been a great experience overall. Thanks for everything Cyndi! See you soon.

Hands down the best Brazilian ever!

I have been going to Cyndi for a year and a half now and I wouldn't go to anyone else! It's a very personal one-on-one soothing environment. The wax is very unique - it sticks only to the hair, not the skin. If you've been shaving it may hurt the first few times since hair is thick but once you keep up with a 4-6 week schedule it'll go much faster. Stop shaving and start going to Cyndi - you will never touch a razor again!

Last week I took the plunge into getting my 1st Brazilian wax! I have previously gotten a regular bikini wax, but never went that extra mile to the Brazilian until a couple of my girlfriends told me how awesome it was. I called around to a couple of local salons & Cyndi came highly recommended. I did my research & read some really awesome reviews on her & decided to take a chance...I am so very happy that I did! First Brazilian

I got my first Brazilian, full leg wax, and underarm wax with Cyndi a few days ago, and she made it much more comfortable and enjoyable than I ever thought possible! I had tried an at-home waxing kit last year with terrible results - super painful & bleeding, I couldn't even finish the job. For the most part my waxing experience with Cyndi was much less painful than I'd anticipated, which was a pleasant surprise. She definitely knows her stuff! She also carries on a conversation with you the whole time, which takes your mind off the waxing and makes the time fly. She's a hoot, and definitely made my first professional waxing experience enjoyable, something I didn't think would be possible. Thanks, Cyndi, I'll definitely be coming back!
