Watch out for this place! There are some crooked, unethical, and possible illegal activities going on inside 11509 Veterans Memorial Dr. Ste 800. The front staff is rude and has no idea what customer service really means. They are mostly Hispanic women and they all are GHETTO. I went there in July, 2015 to get the free exam and x-ray. There was one very knowledgeable and professional Asian male dentist who did my exam. He recommended a root canal, built up, and a crown for my number 2 tooth. I didn't tell them anything about my insurance because I was a little skeptical and wasn't sure if I was going to get the work done there. I just wanted to get a quote so I could have an idea of the cost. I went to a second dentist office and the experience was wonderful. They made me feel right at home. The staff was very professional. They all greeted me with a smile as I walked through the door. The dentist was knowledgeable and professional as well. He also recommended I get a root canal, build up, a crown on my number 2. The only problem with this office is they were out of my insurance network so the price was almost double for the same work at Dental Smiles. Unfortunately, I had to go back to Dental Smiles because they are in my insurance network. I waited a week or so and finally called. I spoke to the same rude receptionist and once again the experience was negative. I asked her can I come in today to actually get the work done. She put me on hold and then came back to the phone and said you can come in but the doctor here now recommends "an extraction." I said, “I don't want an extraction." She replied, "Well you are going to have to wait till Friday because that's when your doctor gets here. I said, the doctor that's there now can't do the work? She replied, "SHE can't do root canals, SHE only does extractions." At this point I said OK let me call you back. I waited a couple of days and called back. I spoke to another rep and told her I wanted to come in and get the work done. She said I could come in the next day at 2:00 to get examined. I was like OK I already got examined but OK. I go in the next day and they tried to x-ray me again. I told the lady I've already had an x-ray. She said they put you down for an exam and tried to convince me that my x-rays were done in April. I told her my x-rays are no more than a couple of weeks old. She went back up to the front and came back with my x-rays and escorted me to another room put my x-rays on the light on the wall and said rudely the doctor will see u now. This Hispanic/Indian looking female Dentist (wannabe) with an attitude comes in the room didn't speak, didn't smile or anything just rude and GHETTO as hell. She said after looking at your records I recommend an extraction. I immediately said NO you’re not pulling my teeth out. She said wait a minute you didn't even give me a chance to explain why. She goes on with some BS about your cavity is close to the gums or whatever. I told her I've went to two other dentists and the both recommended a root canal. I told her it's not my problem you can't do a root canal. She said, rudely well can go to the other two dentists and walked out. I couldn't believe what has just happen. I also started to many people are getting their teeth pulled because this lady is misleading them? How many patients like me, who have seen the REAL Dentist who works there and are stolen by this Dentist wanna be and her rude friends who works up front. This has to be Illegal. I know it is unethical. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LADY!!!!!!
