Welcome to the site for virtual information about our veterinary practices, Animal Hospital Champions Northwest, located in Spring, and Animal Hospital Jones Road, situated in northwest Houston. We serve patients from all over Houston, Spring, Tomball and The Woodlands, and welcome everyone to our two practices. It’s an honor to care for pets, and we dedicate every day of the week to providing our best veterinary medicine to clients' dogs and cats. Through this site, we will profile our American Animal Hospital Association accredited practices and share information about veterinary medicine. Before moving on to the topics that interest you most, allow us to share these points about our operating philosophy, and how we define the care of your pet(s). Animal Hospital Champions Northwest (purchased in 1997) and Animal Hospital Jones Road (established in 1986), as privately-owned affiliates, are comprehensive veterinary hospitals with all the equipment, diagnostic tools, and trained staff necessary to provide quality medical care for the entire lives of our dog and cat patients. Before going here, you really have to decide if you want to deal with a revolving number of vets & vet techs. The owner of this clinic can't seem to keep the same people for more than a year or so. Makes you wonder why. I've had good, bad & mediocre service here depending on who's on call. The owner (which operates out of their Champions Northwest location reccomended $700.00+ of tests to determine what type of skin condition our dog had. We went to another vet (where we still go) and they did a simple skin test, which gave them the info they needed. We statrted a medication immediately and the condition has been treated successfully ever since. The vet we use now has only two vets, one who is the owner and the other who has been there several years. The Jones Road operation is similar to the dentists and eye doctors in town that use their name or brand name, but you never see the owner/doctor. You see the fresh out of grad school newbies, that are testing their new diplomas out on you (or in our case, our pet)! No thank you!

They really care about helping ...
From the moment I walked in the door of the nice office, every one was caring and helpful. I brought two cats and one is laid back and happy, and the other one was howling and pacing. The receptionists could tell I was so stressed and they went out of their way to make it easy. The vet nurses put me in a room right awy so I could try and calm myself and Cally. I just had a routine visit for shots, but they vets and nurses spent a lot of time with me and my babies. I'll definitely go back.

Very rude assistants
I have never been so insulted by the way the assistant Lauren is on the phone...because I stated that I was gay and from a gay paper she hung up on me then I called back and she called me names. If someone can hire someone like that then I have no desire to bring my animals to someone of that sick nature...I am gay and proud of it!!!! What I do with myself has nothing to do with my animal or why I am calling.
