Sunday I chose between NY Bagel Shop and Einstein, equal distant from my home. I like the bagels,k and staff is properly friendly, albneit a nbmechanical. THit eir bagels were inconsistent in size and quality. I purchased also a tub of cream cheese. and when I read the ingredients at home I was disappointed to read how many many chemicals they had , as well as sugar. Unwise for health reasons. I wish they provided coffee creamer such as Soy milk creamers, versus the usual half and half and whole milk. I am unlikely to return again to Einstein's, unless there were,no other choices. Too bad because their location is good, their space is attractive and prices are reasonable.
Poppy Hamentashen? Apricot? And others? Black and Tan cookies? Macaroons? Croissants? Bagels? Strudels? Pastries? And other delights I can type with one finger on my cell, this place is like, well, a real bakery! Hamentashen and Macaroon were delicious: sadly, the server behind the counter hadn't tried any of these or many of the others I inquired about. Guess the owner doesn't want the staff to make any recommendations??????
They have the best beignets! They taste just like the original one ins New Orleans. They serve the original size and also do beignet strips with different toppings like chocolate and cinnamon. I just love this place!
