I would never shop at this Wal-Mart again all because of one supvisor who approached me and began asking questions such as, "Do you work here?" "Go get the food you put back on the shelves and put it in your basket. We will put it back ourselves, boy." Needless to say I was fuming at his last comment and also one like this that he said to me, "Why are you putting back food when you don't work here." I stormed out of the store because of this punk's condescending attitude. If a customer doesn't know they shouldn't put the groceries they don't want back on the shelves then Wal-Mart could atleast hire people who know how to treat customers like human beings. This happened at 6:15 AM and I wish I wouldn've gotten this guy's name. All I know is that he was supervising the night-stocking on the early morning of December 10, 2007. I will never shop at another Wal-Mart because of this guy and his condescending attitude.
I just wanted to take a moment to write in appreciation of the staff at this Home Depot store. Pat Kuntz, the store manager, does a good job of positively motivating his associates toward excellent customer service. Although I have occasionally had a to wait a bit as they all busily assisted other customers, I have gotten very good, personalized service from associates in all departments. They are for the most part kind, courteous, and knowledgeable regarding material in their departments. Additionally, many are sufficiently cross-trained so as to be able to assist the customer with all facets of their project. I realize that not all Big Box stores are to be recommended, but this one is definitely first rate.
The other reviewer was not talking about customer service, or the quality of a lasting product. I bought an AllStyle AC unit/ coil 21 years ago. The unit still runs brand new today. When I was cleaning the coils last month, I noticed that 1 of the 8 Ceramic Clamps that hold the Heating Element suspended in the AC box had been Aged & Broken due to 20 years of running heat in the winter. I wanted it to be flawless for peace of mind against fire-hazards. I took it to Allstyle, and the old man himself grabbed it, and said to pick it up the next day. He fixed the worn out Heat Element after 20 years free of charge, and I suspect that my AC altogether may last up to another 9 years.
