Hello, fist of all excusse me for my grammar and spelling mistakes. I couldn't wait anymore to start to write this review, after my interview today... Ms. Richards is the nicest person I have ever seen, in the law world. After my first appointment, I made my decision to hire Ms. Richards. She was honest and upfront from the first appointment. The fees didn't change, even she went extra mile to help me more than she promised. Well she didn't promise me any immigration status, she just promised to help me get my paperwork together and show up to the interview with me to protect my rights and explain to me if I need help. She believed in me because she knew that I was right from the beginning. Because of some fake folks, most of the immigrant gets judged or has to go thru the process! She helped me to contact with some sources to get my paperwork together, she always informed me about everything on time. She even helped me to fix some grammar mistakes in the forms/letters. Beside of all of those she helped me to be strong in this hard time. At the end of the the 3rd counseling session, I was still missing some paperwork and photos since I had only about 2 weeks or less time to the interview date when I hired Ms. Richards. Even so she was still patience with me and called me at the end of the day and the next (this) morning to reminds me about the missing paperwork. Anyways we talked to meet at the uscis office 30 mins before the interview time. I was there little earlier than that and Ms. Richards was there before than agreed time. We walked to uscis office, picked our seats and waited for my interview. While we waited for the uscis officer to call me, it was more than 1 hour passed. Meanwhile we had really cool conversations. She wasn't just a lawyer there for me, she was also good person with positive energy and attitude. My name was called and we walked to interview room. She just reminded me again to give the paperworks to the officer and just watched everything goes in its flow. While the interview Ms. Richards made couple comments about the paperworks and explained me one of the question I didn't understand. Because that's all I needed, rest of it was my job. Of course I had to tell my story, of course I had to answer the questions about my case and explain the evidences I brought with me since it's my job to do all this. Everything went smooth and my case was approved. I'm really thankful to Ms. Richards for everything and I would recommend her to everyone 110% Regards Javid.

Naturalcare just serviced my home. This house has not been this clean...ever! Seriously – I don’t believe it has been this clean since we moved in two decades ago. The cleaning technicians were prompt and courteous. They needed little direction and were very interested in my satisfaction. They took great care in working around my 87 year old mother. Here’s the thing. When I pay a service to clean my home, I want it thoroughly cleaned and scrubbed. I’d never been concerned about harsh chemicals because I thought it was what you had to use to get the kind of clean that I wanted. Imagine my delight and surprise when Naturalcare Cleaning Service made my home cleaner and fresher than it has ever been - and they accomplished this without harsh and harmful chemicals. The last service I used for a thorough spring cleaning charged me much more and accomplished much less. I enthusiastically recommend Naturalcare Cleaning Service. Naturalcare is now an integral part of our household. Thank you!
Everyone does the idiot thing of locking their keys in the car at some point. For me it was even worse because it wasn't my vehicle and I didn't have AAA. I was stuck in the Middle of the street at a typical non-descript Software Company when I realized my mistake. Wi-Fi was plentiful and I had my laptop so I searched around for a locksmith and found Plus Locksmith. A dispatcher answered right away and said a guy would be there within 20 minutes. 30 minutes later he showed up, called me and within 3 minutes had unlocked car door. He knocked $10 off the fee for being late which a minor nice gesture I suppose is. Great auto service! So 30 minutes later and a lessoned learned. Don't be an idiot, but if you do, these guys will help ease the pain.
Reddy and Neumann PC was recommended to us by one of their satisfied clients who happened to be a family friend. I consulted Rahul Reddy regrading my EB -2 Green Card. The fees for the process seemed a bit high so I was reluctant to go for it. I got in touch with another immigration lawyer with my case. The early consultation that I had with them left me dissatisfied. So, I came back to Rahul Reddy again. Once my process kickstarted with them I felt relieved to have made the decision. I appreciate their effort in getting me the green card through employment based second preference. Since I am from Iran the dates were current and I could get the green card fast. I would recommend them!!
Good cleaners. I love the fact that they are in the entire Houston metro area. Including The Woodlands area and Conroe. I think the prices are reasonable, I called a lot of other companies and I think the prices they gave me were outrages! I got my house cleaned plus the windows at a reasonable price and I was highly satisfied. Even though they usually clean houses that are under construction they still did a good job. Note: I got a basic house clean I did not need my clothes washed or to put sheets on my beds. They do not do that sort of job just the dusting of the house. Well I would recommend them to anyone!
Amazing Passport Service !! I received a call from my mother in London, my dad was very sick in the hospital. I immediately called Worldwide Visa & Passport Services, they told me to come right in. I applied for my passport in their office, they even took the pictures. I was sworn in at the Post Office then they handled the rest. 24 hours later I received my new passport and took an evening flight to London. I can't thank them enough for coming through for me, I was able to see my dad before he passed. Thank you to the staff at Worldwide. Jenny J.
I have been working with Reddy & Neumann, P.C. for years now and they handle all of my immigration matters. I can't say enough how great they are to work with. They are proactive and extremely responsive. In fact, they are like an in-house service because they take such care in knowing your business and goals. Ms. Neumann is not only very knowledgeable technically and gets the job done, but is also a very nice person to work with. I always recommend Reddy & Neumann, P.C. to my business associates. - YOGESH
I attempted to leave work for a quick lunch break when suddenly the key to my vehicle would not turn in the ignition and consequently my truck would not start. I called Automobile Locksmith and there price was the most reasonable of the three locksmiths I called. They arrived in less than 30 minutes (during rush hour) and changed out the cylinder core for a new one while I continued to work. They showed me the old cylinder and why my car would not start. I am no longer stranded! I highly recommend them.
Mr. Reddy and his team filed my H1B petitions, got me my PERM in a swift go. The confidence I had seen and experience I had with them got me going with them again for I-140 and eventually Adjustment of Status. The entire team of Reddy and Neumann PC is very knowledgeable and supportive throughout the processes. Documentation, questions, doubts, everything was cleared. I could see my process going very well. I'm extremely thankful for all the work they did on my case. Highly recommended! Rajat M
The locks installed on the doors and windows of every home represent the most common, and perhaps most effective, form of security. That means locks can be taken for granted, until they no longer work properly or the key is lost. Homeowners should work to understand the basics behind these essential household devices, as well as how to address common problems related to them.
The concept behind a lock-and-key mechanism has been around for centuries, so it's no surprise that their basic design hasn't changed much in recent years. At the same time, a number of different types of locks are now available to meet specific needs.
Perhaps the most common type of lock is the pin tumbler lock. Enclosed in a doorknob, these devices contain spring-loaded pins of varying sizes, which must be pushed upward before the knob can be turned to open the door. When the correct key is inserted into a pin tumbler lock, the grooves on the key's blade push the pins up to the precise height needed to allow the inner chamber to turn. Pin tumbler locks are popular because they are relatively secure for most residential applications and generally inexpensive. Since the entire locking mechanism in this device is contained in a single cylinder, pin tumbler locks are also very easy to swap in and out. This comes in handy in apartment buildings, for example, where locks may need to be changed frequently as tenants come and go.
Pin tumbler locks come in a number of configurations. In residential environments, they are the primary mechanism for operating knob locks and deadbolts. Most exterior doors on homes and apartment buildings will have at least one of each of these locks. Knob locks are quick to open and can be convenient when minimal security is acceptable, but they are very easily forced open. When paired with a deadbolt, the door becomes much harder to open. Deadbolts work by driving a thick metal rod into the door frame, which prevents most quick methods of defeating locks, like using a shim or brute force. Still, deadbolts aren't impenetrable, as they can be lockpicked or defeated with much stronger ramming force.
Other common types of residential locks include mortise locks, which combine the action of a doorknob and deadbolt in one. Mortise locks engage a deadbolt with the turn of the key, just as normal. But upon unlocking, the doorknob will open in tandem with the deadbolt. These locks tend to be much stronger than traditional deadbolt designs, but are often harder to install and thus more expensive.
Finally, there's the "jimmy-proof" deadbolt, a type of lock often found in older residences. These locks engage a metal rod that fits into a separate chamber outside of the door frame, rather than through the frame. While its design is simple, it has many advantages over traditional deadbolts or mortise locks. It is impervious to being pried open like many deadbolt systems could be, hence the "jimmy-proof" name. It is also typically harder to pick, and is very inexpensive.
When a lock stops working, no matter where it is in your home or office, it's likely to be a source of frustration. However, it's rare for a lock to suddenly fail to open without exhibiting some signs beforehand.
Common lock problems include issues opening or engaging the lock, or difficulty securing a door in the proper position to lock it.
Since locks are essential security devices that might be used multiple times per day, they are bound to wear out eventually. Rekeying or replacing locks can be done on your own in some cases, but may require a professional locksmith.
When a lock is rekeyed, the cylinder containing the tumbler and pins is removed from its enclosure and replaced with a new cylinder. This is often done when a new tenant moves into an apartment that was previously occupied, but it may also be necessary if a lock needs to be replaced.
Replacing all components of a cylinder lock, or working with locks that don't use a pin tumbler system, requires a different procedure for replacement. Installing a new lock of the same type will be the most straightforward option.
If you want a new lock that is different from your old set, more advanced installation is required, and you may want to consider hiring a professional for the job.
The term locksmith traditionally referred to people who designed and built locks, but today is generally used for those who repair and replace locks. Locksmiths can be available on-call to help people if they're locked out of their home or apartment.
If you've lost your keys or are otherwise unable to enter a locked building that you normally have access to, you will need to call your local locksmith. To save money and ensure you're hiring a reputable contractor, it may help to do some research on locksmiths in your area ahead of time, so you can be prepared if you need to call one.
Upon arrival to your home, a locksmith should ask you to prove that it is in fact your residence. They should also be able to unlock most common locks without requiring them to be drilled or completely replaced. Be sure to obtain an invoice that lists all charges before agreeing to pay.
Locks are ubiquitous around the world, which means the skills to service them are always in demand. Becoming a locksmith could be a rewarding career opportunity, but like any other job, will require a bit of preparation.
Locksmiths do not generally require formal education, but need to undergo extensive hands-on training and possibly certification. Locksmiths-in-training can receive foundational knowledge and skills through programs offered at technical colleges or vocational schools. These would include basic courses on lock mechanics and manipulation, along with general skills like business management.
From there, most trainees seek an apprenticeship, where they work alongside a professional locksmith. This allows them to gain experience in the field. It can also put them on a course toward certification, which involves a standardized procedure that, once completed, allows locksmiths to legally conduct business in their state.
Successful locksmiths need to be skilled with their hands and in the use of tools. While these skills are essential for the day-to-day tasks that a locksmith performs, they also benefit immensely from being personable and able to work with people to solve problems.
There are a number of trade associations and organizations for locksmiths that may help them find work, receive training and connect with like-minded business partners. These organizations may also help consumers find a reputable locksmith. Locksmith trade associations in the U.S. include:
