I simply HAD to relate my experience at the Champions location of Berkley Eye Center. In all my years of critical monitoring of U.S. patient care I don't believe I have EVER seen someone more attentive, discerning or knowledgeable to patient needs, desires and preferences than Curcy Cross. From the very moment I stepped into this facility I could tell that it was not your average "eye glass mill". After being greeted and stating that I simply wanted to "browse" first, I overheard several patients enter and specifically ask for Curcy Cross. I'm extremely big on receiving the absolute best customer service available and so after seeing several eye glass options (though admittedly I hate wearing eyeglasses) I decided to request her as well. WOW, WOW, WOW....is all I can say. My goodness this is a true Professional. She assesed my every need, desire and preference with regard to frames and lenses, greatly educated me on every aspect of the eyeglass selection process and as far as I am concerned, demonstrated to my colleagues and I that Berkley was entirely in a different league altogether when she was successful not only in making me comfortable in glasses, but giving me the all important "look" I was going for. As a result I will be sending all of my government staff members from the U.S. and outside territories whom visit to the Champions location of Berkley Eye Center for all of their Ophthalmological needs. They too have already been informed. "Ask for Curcy Cross if you want "the experience"! In addition, I'm not sure whether Berkley has an Administrative Consumer Relations Department, but someone from Corporate needs to visit this location and recruit this young woman if they do. I suspect that an ability like hers (business minded yet caring and attentive) could do wonders at a Corporate level. In conclusion, thank you Berkley for selecting exactly what a "me first" world is lacking....a true talented AND caring Professional!!!! I will definitely be keeping an "Eye" on this location.
Mi experiencia en Diagnostic Eye Center fue muy y muy positiva. En Houston hay una multitud de clínicas que practican esta intervención y elegir entre tantas no ha sido una tarea fácil. Pero no he lamentado ningun momento mi desición de operar mis ojos en la clínica de Dr. Sanders. Dr. Sanders y su equipo han sido muy amables y dispuestos de aclarar cualquer duda. La intervención ha sido tan rápida (aunque, claro, antes de someterme a ello sabía, que no duraria mucho, pero tampoco me imaginaba que iba a terminar tan pronto). Durante la intervención no experimenté ningun dolor ni tampoco alguna sensación desagradable. Por tener cornea muy fina no ha sido posible aplicarme Lasik, por lo que Dr. Sanders utilizó la tecnolgía PRK. Mucha gente que se ha sometido al mismo procedimiento suele decir que experimentaba dolores fuertes durante unos días después de la intervención. Mi caso no ha sido asi. Experimenté unos dolores muy moderados y solamente el segundo día después de la intervención. Este hecho creo que en mayor medida se debe al profesionalismo de Dr. Sanders. El resultado también ha sido muy bueno. Después de llevar las gafas casi durante 20 años , es un enorme alivio poder ver sin gafas y ademas ver mejor que antes con gafas!!!!! Es increible. Muchísimas gracias a Dr. Sanders.
A friend of mine first told me about Eye Couture after I commented of how good his glasses looked. I have worn glasses a long time, and the owner Jairo Restrepo is by far the friendliest and most informative lensologist I have ever met. My prescription is quite high (diopter +6 and +7) so finding a nice set of glasses has always been hard. But Jairo is obviously passionate about his profession and just the sort of guy I want helping me with eye-wear decisions. These are objects that you will have on you face quite a bit, after all – every waking hour in my case - so I want the glasses to be comfortable. But I also want just a dash of style mixed in as well. By my nature I prefer the technical aspects of how eyeglasses are made – what materials are available, technical limitations, functionality etc. Also by my nature I am no fashion maven. Jairo was a terrific help on both accounts. I appreciated Jairo’s style opinions as he gently and patiently guided me through the myriad of options available. By the end I just the kind of glasses which suited my needs, but also just an extra dollop of “hip-ness” that would not have been there without Jairo’s advice. And the service after the sell was extra-ordinary – truly. Good store – great staff.
