I would never shop at this Wal-Mart again all because of one supvisor who approached me and began asking questions such as, "Do you work here?" "Go get the food you put back on the shelves and put it in your basket. We will put it back ourselves, boy." Needless to say I was fuming at his last comment and also one like this that he said to me, "Why are you putting back food when you don't work here." I stormed out of the store because of this punk's condescending attitude. If a customer doesn't know they shouldn't put the groceries they don't want back on the shelves then Wal-Mart could atleast hire people who know how to treat customers like human beings. This happened at 6:15 AM and I wish I wouldn've gotten this guy's name. All I know is that he was supervising the night-stocking on the early morning of December 10, 2007. I will never shop at another Wal-Mart because of this guy and his condescending attitude.
I always go to the Highland Village location and have had a fabulous experience every time. The items are always fresh and don't look like your cookie-cutter selections you'd find at the mall. They have a wide variety of items from clothes, to purses, to jewelry, belts, etc. and even gift items and house accessories. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. The only drawback is the stores are usually small and get a bit cramped because there are often quite a few customers in the store.
Compass Pointe is now under new management and we are actually seeing positive things happening at the complex. New premium suites, pool renovation, we are also getting a gym in the new leasing office and we have heard there are a lot more renovations happening when it comes to landscaping and we are also getting new BBQ's which is awesome. I highly recommend that if you are looking for an apartment with amenities in a good location that you go take a look at Compass Pointe
