I have worked extensively in litigation based areas of the legal field. During law school I gained valuable experience from the lawyers I was fortunate enough to clerk for. My first clerking experience was with James & House, P.A. in Little Rock, Arkansas. While at James & House, I worked cases dealing with construction law, zoning law, and white collar crimes. After James & House I became a Rule 15 Clerk with the Pulaski County Public Defender's Office. As a Rule 15 clerk I was allowed to represent individuals in Arkansas courts as long as I had another member of the Public Defender's Office with me. It was during this time that I gained valuable courtroom experience. Finally, I clerked for J. Sky Tapp at Tapp Law Offices in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I was fortunate enough to work on many matters ranging from researching and writing appellate briefs, drafting correspondence to courts, and drafting numerous pleadings.
