Econo Lodge

I was really surprised about this place..I had expected an okay hotel and not anything more. When we pulled into the drive I noticed the outside seemed inviting more so then any other Econo Lodge I had been in. The room was spacious, clean, great location! The staff was helpful also. I would recommend this place if you are wanting a great location near the lake but not the typical price of such a place. We will be staying here again. The only negative I could say would be the continental breakfast doesn't look appealing, but I have seldom seen one that does. standard commercial pastries and no frills, but then again, I wasn't even aware there was a breakfast at the hotel. However, I would guess it would be okay if eating on the run.
Don't be fooled by the Econo Lodge name, this hotel is worth it.

This place was a bit distant from the attractions we visited and our room was a bit worn, but, the place was a decent place to stay. The neighborhood was very nice. Restaurants and shopping were nearby. And, lake Hamilton was literally a stones throw away! Our only problem was the tiny breakfast area in the morning. It got very crowned in there on the breakfast rush. Suggest next time we get up a bit earlier for breakfast to beat the herd. Our next stay will likely be at this hotel. A great place to stay for the money.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites, ideally located away from the hustle and bustle of Hot Springs, yet within minutes of the historic downtown area and many activities. The area around Lookout Point on Lake Catherine is beautiful and the easy access to Highway 7 was another plus. The hotel front desk staff, Ravi & Shawn, were both friendly and informative about activities, dining choices, etc. Thank you - We would definitely stay there again, if in the area

Hotel has a full breakfast for guests. BF room has a beautiful view of the nearby lake. Each room has its own balcony with a view of the lake and the pool. Nice pool though it was too cool to use it.. Manager was very curt with me in breakfast area first day and on check out the second day. Very clean and beds were very comfortable.

I came up here one night in July for business. The hotel was an older hotel, so I expected a Days Inn not to be a Hilton. I don't know what the others have been complaining about, but this hotel is under new management and they are renovating the property. The hotel is on the south end of town off Central Ave, maybe out of the way for some but for me it offered a great secluded place away from all the hustle of the main town area. The hotel has a very nice out door pool. a bbq picnic area that I did not use since I was alone, but would have used it with family or friends. The hotel is very close to Lake Hamilton, and is very close to Hot Springs Mall.

I have stayed here 5-6 times by myself and my wife stayed once. My wife had some minor problems which were during renovation and they fixed the problem right away and were very apologetic. I have not had a problem. The staff was very nice and did whatever I asked. It did take 5 minutes for hot water in the tub, but it is like that every where. AC Worked very well as did the heater. Now, this is not as nice as a 150 dollar room but for 60 dollars in Hot Springs it is a excellent value. I did not have the continental breakfast. Oh, I forgot the last time I was there the room I was in the entry card had to be rescanned at least one time a day. It was a little bit of a hassle but I just had them rescan it when ever I returned. I am sure this problem is fixed. When I say I have stayed here 5-6 times it is all together like 40-50 days. I just really like the people who run the place and the price is right.

I guess I had a very different experience than others. The stay was enjoyable and the room was clean. We happened to visit Hot Springs during the horse races (not intentionally). Everything was VERY busy so the location was nice because it is a couple of miles from downtown. From our balcony we could see a bit of Lake Hamilton, which was nice. The tv was an updated 32' flat screen, The bed was comfy, and the complimentary breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast. All in all it was enjoyable!

Nice place but it was a bit hard to find the intrance. In a cruve on a hill. Good view of lake Hamilton.
