T CAR, has made every effort to work with this man but he refuses to work with us. Our Board meeting is scheduled for December 10 th, we have been unable meet as we had a board member in the hospital and we were waiting also to get the vet information, as I expressed to you earlier that we meet every other month and we had just had our October meeting so therefore our next meeting would be in December. There has been every effort to discuss this matter but as stated we have not been able to meet, I understand that you want your money refunded and I will express that to the rest of the group. I do want you to know that we also encountered a vet bill of over $400.00 trying to save this puppy. The adopter stated that he did not believe we knew the puppy was sick, and we did not, we do not adopt out sick animals, he took it to his vet on Monday and he gave the pup a clean bill of health too. I spoke with the vets office, they stated that it only takes 2 to 3 days to show signs of illness. As far as we know the puppy could have got the virus at someplace you took the puppy, which we have no control over at all. I instructed you to take your puppy to ur vet immediatley and we would treat the pup. Also I offered to meet you at your convenience to pick out another puppy (which were all tested once you contacted me about your puppy's illness but none of the other pups were sick) and you had agreed then changed your mind,as I stated in our earlier conversation that you signed a contract and a responsibility wavier. Now, I have replied to every e mail sent and at no time have a refused to refund your money but I have to have the board approval to refund any monies. I will contact in regard to your request for a refund of adoption donation after the meeting, December 10 th.
