Outstanding Customer Service

It's been a while since my husband and I have been shopping around for a fairly new used car! At first we were debating on getting a new one but with such bad credit from our pass relationships we decided to check New City Nissan out, since their add sounds so unbelievable so we wanted to see for ourselves. My Brother in-law bought a new Altima in 2008 and since then I have had the chance to be driving around in their car and got a feel for the vehicle itself. I knew from jump start that I did not necessarily need a car like that, more compact yet fuel efficiency is what we wanted! Well, after searching for quite some time on their website I've found what I had thought I wanted and surprisingly did. We walked to New City Nissan since we lived a few blocks away, praying and hoping we could get a chance to drive out with a vehicle. Soon as we entered we were greeted with smiles, asked to speak to a salesperson "Felix Hernandez" we've been chatting with online for awhile and they say us down. As soon as he was available we were automatically seated with him and had a talk through of what we specifically needed. Now mind you our credit wasn't so great yet not as bad as others he mentioned!! In a heart beat the finance department came in and helped us with ease!!! We had a little over $3k as down and all they needed was just that to get us cleared with the car if our dreams!! I never imagine after reading so much bad reviews to have such a different experience then them!! I have yet to bring my other family members to be part of the Nissan Family!! I can't explain how quick and efficiently well they have served us!! In less than 2 hours we drive off with a very low mileage, fairly new, compact cute, very low monthly payment plan and fuel efficient vehicle out the lot. Thanks To Felix Hernandez and Blair from the Finance Department for making our dreams come true!!!

two faces

Just a 2006 Sentra 2 weeks ago, when i went to buy the car everything was ok, fast and friendly but after the deal was done (remember that you have 30 days warranty on used cars from New city) and i went home ,i started to have problems with the car,having a hard time starting,registration expiring(12/10, i got the car at the end of November)rear bumper falling down, power windows getting stuck,i called customer service and i explained what happened,i got schedule to bring the car the following week,they fix the car starting problem(a small leak),power windows(needed some kind of wax),the cheap fixes was taking care of but the expensive ones,all the friendly and fast people didn't want to hear about(registration is on me,even though i only have the car for 2 weeks,$202, and they said that i got to buy a whole new rear bumper plus installation,$$$$$$$$)...i suggest i drive to the other side of the island ,don't buy from this people,they will rip you off...

You're an idiot......i'm sorry that you're disabled and all, but I don't care who you are, NOBODY has $40 payments per month on ANY car!!!!!!!!!! I also doubt that the odometer was rolled back as you say it was, where's your proof?? Get tha hell on with your $40 a month payments......being that it's been 2 years since you wrote this, i'm sure by now you've found out that NOBODY is gonna give you a car loan with $40 payments per month.......

I RECETNLY WENT TO NEW CITY NISSAN ON 2295 N KING ST IN HONOLULU TO BUY A CAR AND THE SALESMAN WHO TALKED TO ME ON THE PHONE TO COME IN AND MEET HIM DIDN'T SHOW AND LEFT ME ABANDON WITH ANOTHER SALES PERSON...WHO TRIED TO SELL ME A 1997 TOYOTA CAMRY GOLD 4DR , 4CLY , WITH 95,000 MILES ON IT AND PLATES THAT WOULD EXPIRE ON 11 / 08...I WAS THERE ON 11 /23/08.

SUNDAY.....THEN WENT BACK THE NEXT DAY AFTER CHECKING THE CAR ON KELLY BLUE BOOK AND CARFAX !....THE PRICE WAS LOWER THAN THE PRICE THEY WANTED 4,898.00...KELLY BLUE BOOK LISTED IT AS 2,000..AND CARFAX LISTED THE ORIGINAL MILEAGE REGISTERED AS 113,000. THE SALESPERSON WHO I SPOKE TO JASON WAS TOLD I AM A HANDICAPPED AN DISABLED PERSON...THE PERSON I MET KNEW IT TOO !...AND THEY BOTH WERE INFORMED MY FINANCIAL SITUATION BEING ON WELFARE AND ON MEDICAL...

I NEEDED A CAR FOR MEDICAL REASONS !....YET THEY STILL TRIED TO SELL ME A CAR WITH A ROLLED BACK '' ODOMETER '' AT A HIGHER PRICE !....WHEN I WENT BACK THE NEXT DAY AND DID FINALLY MEET WITH JASON...HE AND HIS SALES MANAGER REFUSED MY OFFER OF 1500 AND 40,00 MONTHLY PAYMENTS.

AS I FINALLY TOLD THEM.....MY FRIENDS AND I CHECK THE CAR OUT ON KELLY BLUE BOOK AND CARFAX...

YOU PEOPLE LIED TO ME AND TRIED TO SELL ME A CAR THAT HAD ITS ODOMETER ROLLED BACK !!!!....

THE OTHER SALES PERSON LIED WHEN I ASKED HIM...DOES THIS CAR NEED ANY REPAIRS OR TO BE FIXED ?...AND HIS STATEMENT WAS....WE DO A 12 POINT CHECK ON ALL OUR USED CARS !....THERES NOTHING WRONG WTIH THE CAR !....HE LIED....THE ODOEMETER WAS ROLLED BACK !....FINALLY THE DEALERSHIP TO E\/EN STOOP SOO LOW TO RIPOFF A HANDICAPPED DISABLED PERSON ?.....HOW MANY OTHER PERSONS DID THEY RIPOFF IN THE PAST ?...SENIORS , HANDICAPPED , DISABLED , \/ETERANS ?...

don't buy from them!

We arrived on the island and had two days to purchase a car before my husband had to report. We found a 02 Xterra. This dealership assured us that this car was in perfect condition. We explained that it was important to have a reliable car. We were told that they had serviced the car and they had completed all the maintenance needed at the time. When we had the oil changed in the car, it still had the filters on it from the manufactors. The oil had never been changed. The dealership didn't even do the basic maintenance. Not only that but, we were quoted a price of 12,000 and then my husband was envolved in training and was only allowed a 2 hour window to sign the papers. When we got over there, they had gone up on the price by several thousand dollars. They said it was standard fees. We were buying our first car and we got took. After paying over a year on the car, we owe more than the quoted price and we put down a large amount of money. The car is falling a part. They do not stand behind there vehicles. I would warn anyone especially military to stay away from the dealership. They will take you for everything you have.

Great Service!

I shipped my newish Xterra from the mainland and took it in to Nissan for some squeaking noises because it was still under warranty. I got the best service I could ever have hoped for! Friendly staff, my car was all fixed up and no more squeaks - except for the fact that it was squeaky clean! Great job!!!
