Got ripped off

My friends and I recently went into Mosse's for a few drinks. We sat at the bar talking among our selves. After several drinks, I asked the bar tender for another Long Island Iced Tea. I placed a 20 dollar bill on the counter after he gave me my drink. The male bar tender took my 20 and then placed the change on the counter. I picked up the money so I could give the bar tender a tip with some of the remaining money unfortunately I was 10 dollars short. When I told the bar tender there was a problem with the change he pretended not to know what I was talking about. I told him that I gave him a 20 but he said it was only a 10. My word against his. The management could care less and treated me like a liar when they said I probably had too much to drink. Yes, I enjoy a few drinks but I am always aware of what's going on and at Mosse's its be careful and count your change immediately!

Negative impact from new management

I have frequented this place for a couple years. Recently there has been a change in management, which has negatively effected the service. The happy hour, used to be a happy hour. With half off beers, and hard alc. Then they expanded the place a lil and to compensate they changed ""Not happy hour"" to only a dollar off beers, and well drinks for 3$. The last couple of times I have been and talked with managers, they have been nothing but arrogant fouls. Come on Moose, bring back the good ol happy hours, and loose the egotistical numbnuts.

Best overall bar and best overall club

Drink specials were phenominal. Happy hour was excellent $3 cover charge after 10 or so. Casual, yet you could still be trendy if you wanted to be. Manager waived our cover after remembering us from happy hour. Went on a Satruday night. Crowd didn't start getting there until 11-12 p.m. Had a great time partying with a Japanese bachelor/bacherlorette party, army guys, and some cute girls on the dance floor. More guys then girls, but the ratio wasn't too bad. Sunday nobody was there except 4 hot chicks, probably a slow night for the whole town from my other bar/club hopping sunday tour. Crowd is about 20's to 30's for club. Happy hour is anybody. This place kicks but like it does in Pasadena in California. Definitley one of the best places on the island.

cool joint

this place is pretty cool. it is more of a dance club at night than a bar, but that does bring in the ladies. the staff was great and the specials were decent.

Cool Hangout

Lot's of people in this place from all over the world, plus it's bigger than the other bars around Waikiki. Good mix of hip hop and top 40. They have half price happy hour on drinks and appetizers. Pretty good. This place was 2 blocks from our hotel on Lewers. Dance floor is ok sized for this place. Lot's of out of towners as well as locals. It does tend to turn into a meat market late at nite. Every day of the week has a special and they have a bikini contest on Sundays! Too bad I missed it.

Great place

Been coming here for years from out of town and always had a great time. The staff is always great. It's a good mix of people from tourist to military. Even though I'm not a local, the staff always remembers my name (and drinks!!!)
