        Operational since 1983, Life Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to stopping the spread of HIV and providing assistance to people living with HIV and AIDS. Based in Honolulu, Hawaii, the firm implements innovative programs, such as AIDS case management, school based AIDS education and the sterile needle exchange. In addition, it provides peer support for positives, treatment education and peer-to-peer HIV prevention outreach. In 2008, Life Foundation worked with nearly 700 HIV-positive men, women, children and transgenders to insure medical, financial, and emotional support.
