    ahead of their time!

Just went there, burgers were awesome and the refill cup an added benefit. I love these burgers in all their glory. I was looking at the other reviews from 3 or 4 years ago... now everyone makes you pay extra for fries or they add the cost in. If you dont want fries dont order them, if you do then rock out. I would do this again in waikiki... the view was awesome and the drinks on time !

i thought this place would be fantastic.... well the atmosphere is great but the food not so much. it was just ok. they did messed up on the order..which i was fine with, didn't complain. but the burger was just ok. i guess i was expecting something wonderful since it is 'cheeseburger in paradise'. i love cheeseburgers but not this one. and this place is over-priced.\r

You have got to be kidding

We just returned from a 11 day trip to the islands. We thought we would check out Cheeseburger in Paradise on our first night in Waikiki. After a short wait we were taken to a table. We waited and waited for someone to take our order. After our order was taken we waited and waited some more for the food. These had to be the worst hamburgers, if you could call them that, that we have ever been served. Absolutely not worth the price. the burgers had no flavor whatsoever and were very greasy. We would have been about $30 dollars ahead and would have had a better cheeseburger if we had gone to McDonalds. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I've been in food service for most of my life and I would be ashamed to put out food this bad.\r

    AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!

My family and I decided to give this place a try ( we ate at the one on waikiki). Out of all establishments to be dissatisfied with, I never thought it would be with a burger place! SERIOULSY... when do burgers not come with FRIES? You have to order french fries as a side dish, personally that's just a money gimick so they can try to milk all the tourist! \r \r I'm from the neighboring islands and we certainly do not treat our tourist like this! SERVICE IS BAD!!! We waited for pover 1 hr!!!! Our waiter told us that we would have HOT fries... he delivered COLD fries... He barely checked in on us; we were sipping on the same drinks from the time we got there until we left and the food was NOT WORTH the $$$$$ you paid!!!! Jack-n-the box would have been WAYYYYY BETTER than this place!\r \r all in all...\r \r FOOD: is GROSS\r SERVICE: VERY POOR\r WORTH YOUR TIME AND MONEY: ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!

    good food, slow service

maybe we just ended up with a bad server... he took forever to come and take our orders, we asked for ketchup but he passed by us a few times and never brought it so we had to grab it from the next table, but he was so fast when it came to giving us the bill. and it was around 9pm on a sunday night! not a crowded night at all! food was good - i was very impressed with the beef they used for the burger.

    Great carefree time

Great place to hang out with the family or friends, I recommend going around 5 to beat the crowd and try to see the sunset. Great atmosphere to complement the fact your in Hawaii. The prices were good for waikiki but you won't regret anything you order on the menu. Layed back and easy going with a live band. Plus the window seats give an awesome view. I definitly would go to cheeseburger in paradise if in Hawaii again.

Stopped by Cheeseburger In Paradise 4/2005, this was the first time we had stopped to see what it was all about. The food was fantastic and this guy they had singing (Harry Troupe) was fantastic (bought his CD titled Rockin' In Paradise), his voice turns some old tunes into new ones (a must see!!!). If your on the island you should make this a stop.

I've been going to the Cheeseburger in Paradise in Lahaina for years, and this year a quick layover in Waikiki brought me to their other restaurant in Waikiki. Same great food, same great music, same great fun! I love this place!
