Mark was so friendly and so professional. He came over right away and met us, then gave us our estimate. He was running a special but still gave us a military discount on top of the special he was already running. My wife and I never felt pressured into buying anything. We wanted something modern and with great heat reduction. Mark set us up with the perfect ones. After we ordered the blinds he kept us updated on when they would arrive. The day of installation Mark came with John to help instal. They were in and out in a couple hours. We had 22 blinds replaced. They were very friendly, and left the house very clean. I would recommend Budget Blinds of Honolulu to everyone. 10 out of 10!

The two owners of Budget Blinds came to my condo after I missed my own appointment last week due to being late at work. They gladly rescheduled and seemed to be very understanding of the confusion. They were the most professional, honest and friendly business I've ever worked with. They gave great recommendations and I would definitely recommend Budget Blinds to anyone!

No one wants to have a problem, but sometimes they happen - but, how problems are handled and resolved can be critical. I had a problem, and was very impressed with the way they handled it - made everything right without giving me any stress.

Matt (installer) is really good installer and takes great care to do it right, and not leave any mess. It wasn't easy for me to decide on the blinds and shades and John and Elspeth were both very helpful and patient.

THE ROLLER SHADES ARRIVED!!

I've wanted to get rid of these old drapes that came with the condo a year and a half ago. I've thought about different blinds, shutters and shades, and finally settled on roller shades. They came today and installed them, and I couldn't be happier! Now I can block the view from the big building looking into my bedroom and bath, yet still keep the beautiful city-scape of downtown. (I've included some before and after pics.)

I started reading some Yelp reviews, and saw some bad reviews on a company that advertises a lot on TV. I saw good reviews of Budget Blinds, so I called and made an appointment for them to visit my condo. It is a family business. Mom and another lady, came with samples, took measurements, and I placed the order. A few weeks later, they called to tell me the order had arrived. Son-in-law Matt did the install and was excellent! Matt was very courteous, respectful and professional.

We were very impressed with John, Elspeth and Matt and their company "Budget Blind". John, as the salesman, was very knowledgeable about different types of blinds his recommendations and honesty was impressive. Some of the windows, due to their designs, were simply better off with curtains than blinds. It was refreshing to hear him talk about different types of blinds, see the samples he brought with him and his stories about Scotland.

This local, family run business is very professional and showers you with personal attention. Our kitchen window covering situation was challenging because we needed to keep the late afternoon sun out of my eyes while I cooked, yet also find a solution that was attractive and in keeping with our recently remodeled 1940s plantation kitchen. Elspeth and Lynn spent hours with us showing us a variety of brands and styles. With their artistic guidance we eventually went with a battery roller shade and a valance made from natural reed in neutral tones. Matt completed the installation yesterday and we are thrilled with the results. The measurements and installation were precise and the the battery powered shade works perfectly. Most of all the aesthetics fit our home perfectly. We couldn't be happier. Thank you Budget Blinds!

We were very impressed with their courtesy, expertise and knowledge. The price was good, their recommendations were right on and the installation work was outstanding. They came at the scheduled time, cleaned up their work area better than it was and took great care to cover all nearby furniture before doing the work. The new shades have greatly improved the looks of our condo. We will recommend them to our friends and family.

Budgets Blinds did an outstanding job for us. We have windows that are slanted, more like skylights, with side channels that the blind must fit into. John and Elspeth spent a lot of time making sure they provided a blind that would fit our application.



Once a solution was found they delivered on time and the installation, a day long process given the number of windows, went very well.

So I called Budget Blinds in a panic as one of the big box stores (after coming and measuring) somehow cancelled my order. Was in a time crunch to get these done on time for a project and thank goodness Elspeth showed up. From the first minute, I knew I was in good hands. She got what I needed and even made suggestions to address the needs of this particular client. Everything else was seamless, she got the estimate over, took payment, and delivered and installed wonderfully. Great selection of shades, she is extremely knowledgeable and professional. One of the best vendors I've worked with!

They called me back to reschedule and I was impressed with the owners attitude and professionalism. we'll see how the consult goes.

I am a new resident in Honolulu and purchased a new condo here in December. First order of business was getting some new window treatments. I was promptly greeted by the staff there and Elspeth visited my condo shortly thereafter. After sharing some great products and suggestions, I settled on my final look. In large part due to Elspeth and her can-do attitude, gracious disposition and willingness to try something new. Matt and Elspeth made a follow up visit and ensured the work was done accurately with a focus on quality. You will find them very accommodating and wonderful to work with. Elspeth and Matt ensured my deadlines were met and kept and ensured I was pleased with the final product, which I was. The enhancements and the window treatments complete the room. I must also add the tech that installed the blinds was professional, orderly and efficient. I would highly recommend Budget Blinds, but moreover Elspeth and Matt.

i Just want to tell you how tremendously pleased we are with our new bedroom blinds. You folks are true professionals, with impeccable integrity, prompt and with wonderful customer service. The warranty service provided, when we had an issue, after a short period of time, was more than anyone could have hoped for or expected. Is there an option for 10 stars? If anyone knows me and my standards for service.. This guys are pretty up there. John and Elspeth were outstanding. They showed up on time and brought samples so I could feel

the merchandise and place them against my walls to see if it would match. Then John measured every single window! They worked well together and it showed that they just love what they do. Elspeth even gave a few suggestions and educated me on the different levels of sun coverage which I didn't know prior. They really care about your home and what would work. After 2 hours of being at my house Elspeth kept her word and sent the quote two days later! They were willing to work with us to gain our business! Service is outstanding, merchandise is quality and professionalism is beyond most of what we receive these days.. Can't go wrong with these two:)

Recently moved into a home that was once a model home, but it was lacking LOTS of window treatments! I called Budget Blinds and Chris came out with samples galore, took measurements and provided his estimate. I told him I was going to do some comparison shopping and would let him know if I wanted to go ahead with my order. Found cheaper option through Home Depot, BUT it would have taken at least three times the amount of time to get them installed and I didn't have the convenience of seeing all of the samples in my home. Placed my order through Chris and within a couple of weeks, had blinds and shades installed and they look amazing! He was such a pleasure to work with and I told him that he truly was the main reason I chose to use this company. They go above and beyond in their customer service and made spending the money a little less painful! ;) Thanks for everything!

The Budget Blinds crew was awesome! They had a huge variety of shades, blinds, and shutters. The price of the product was moderate/high... However, the end result was worth every penny! The materials were very high quality, and everything was custom fit to match.



Their customer service was also very good.

Without any hesitation, I would highly recommend John and Elspeth to anyone and everyone who requires assistance in getting the best deal for window treatments. I had been wanting motorized blinds for years and suddenly discovered an advertisement through Costco. Although we were facing a tight deadline between the end of the sale date and when John or Elspeth could come to measure our windows and then place the order in time, they went out of their way to adjust their schedules (and working late into the night) to expedite the paperwork to ensure that we, the customer, would get every benefit available. The motorized shades work perfectly and we enjoy the wonderful view which had previously been hidden by our drapes because "it was too humbug to draw the drapes every day from each side of the window". We now just push a button and silently think of, and thank profusely, John and Elspeth for their able assistance.

John and Elspeth are simply wonderful, helpful, and so conscientious. They helped us initially go through options and pick window coverings that worked best in our condo. We do not live in an easy building to work in or work with. We have all kinds of angles in our unit and they did a wonderful job installing our blinds and working through some of the kinks that came with our non-linear configuration! They are very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and very much want the customer to be happy with their final product. We certainly are. Our condo looks so, so much better with the new blinds. The service and product is exceptional. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
