Can be a loud place to be at times, but great with a group of friends or family. We always end up bringing food home. I crave many of the dishes here. Some may complain about the prices, but it really is family style!

For starters our server suggested a glass of the house wine, we got 2 glasses and my glass tasted like colored water. We then ordered our salad and at no time was offered any house bread so we ordered a garlic bread with cheese. Our children had finished eating their food for about 15+ minutes before we got our food. We then noticed that the table behind us got a order of house bread with oil and vinegar delivered to them. We asked and they replied that we didn't get it because we ordered our own bread. I informed our server that we ordered it because we weren't offered any house bread! We were then offered some bread and it was brought to us without the oil and vinegar sides. After my spouse finished her meal she gave me the remaining portion of her wine to finish. Wow, I couldn't believe how much more flavor her glass had than mine did. Obviously the bottle had settled and I was served the top watered down portion of the bottle!\r \r Overall we were very dissatisfied with the service and timeliness of the meal, this all during their early dinner hours when they aren't even busy yet!\r \r $100 for what????\r \r NEVER AGAIN!!!!! AND I MEAN NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Walked up at 6:30 pm and promptly were seated. Incredible interior...loads of pictures and fun things. Hostess took us through the kitchen (optional 'tour'). Our waitress was top shelf...turns out she is a corporate trainer and we can see why! Food was just incredible!! We learned we ordered wayyyy too much! Great doggie bag fodder! Treat yourself to something unique and price worthy in the near Waikiki area. I will definately recommend this restaurant to all tourists....for once they won't be ripped off and treated rudely like so many eateries near Waikiki. (I work in Waikiki and hear HORROR stories from tourists paying $40-60 per meal and getting zero value and service) \r \r Check your Discover bonuses....$20 gets you a $25 gift card to Buca's!!

Great authentic Italian food served family style so that a ""small"" serving feeds two or more. The meatballs that came with the spaghetti were somewhere between baseball & softball sized, weighing in at about 1/2 pound each. Gaudy, boisterous atmosphere, kitchen tours, and the Pope room, with the Pope's bust as a the table centerpiece. What's not to love? Reasonably priced. For best service, get there before the 7:00 pm movie crowd. Ample seating for large groups.

Very tasty food and the portions are for family style ordering. Really cute restaurant with lots of interesting pictures to look at while you wait for your food. I've been there when the restaurant was busy and when it was empty and it seemed like there was still a considerable wait either way for the food. Gets pretty loud inside and out when it is busy. Huge booths and tables make it a great place for a big group.

Huge portions, friendly atmosphere. the outdoor seating can get loud next to a movie theater and arcade, but great for a casual dinner.

Obviously this rating system is flawed as everyone I know has this on there bottom pile.

Although the food is authenic and tasty, we spent almost $50 on take out and was quite disappointed in the small portions....it was barely enough for two people....maybe we lost some of the experiece by not eating in the restaurant, but it seemed pricey for pasta.
