Listen... You do not want to live here! The area isn't bad. My neighbors weren't bad but management is the worst. They would come into my home multiple times unannounced even after I called them and complained about them coming into my home. I was supposed to have a washer and dryer few weeks after I moved in because my unit didn't have it in there and I never received my washer and dryer. I also requested a card for their washroom and for the entire year they gave me the run around and never provided me with the card. Ultimately, when I moved out they never returned my deposit of $1012 even after I've called and spoken with someone multiple times they have never returned my calls. It has now been 5 months. I wouldn't suggest that you move into this apartment complex.
At first when you move in its such a great and heart warming feeling over here but as the months pass and you need stuff to be fixed its a huge problem...they have a bad roach infestation...they tow your vehicles not questioning if its a guest or otherwise...the gates are never closed and it states in your lease that it should be...there are armed robberies over here and they do nothing about it...it is prohibited to do back in parking...i mean its dreadful!....i attend the University Of Miami "Student" i'm doing my Bachelors in Nursing and honestly i see alot of health hazards over here...their very sloppy when it comes to informing people an they lie alot...i honestly think people should see this apartment as their LAST option....i mean...inside the apartments are nice at first its very appealing inside but as time progresses it get way too out of hand....And as far as the pool goes...it states in your lease that "they are not responsible for any drowning in the pool area" but yest still the pool has to be closed at 6 and earlier if the people in the leasing office are leaving....AND THEY SPEAK NO ENGLISH!
this is the worst place to live management is useless here they dont know anything all they give you is the run around. i wish they would knock all these apartments down and find new owners they all work together. I REPEAT NEVER SIGN A LEASE OR YOU WILL GET SCREWED MONEY WAS STOLEN FROM RENTAL DROP BOX AND THEY ARE STILL CLUELESS WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU? ""POOR MANAGEMENT""
I signed a lease agreement for 1 year with rental rate $1,080.00 monthly ,moved in on the agreed upon date thinking okay all is well .\r <br>Only to get a notice shoved under my door 5 months later that my rent has been raised by $80.00.I went to the office and was met by a very rude lady who claimed to be the manager( i had never met her before nor since then) who told me its either i pay the rent or get out as i had already signed the lease and per clause 201b i was obligated to pay it.. I then called the corporate office to speak with a manager and was told that i have to speak with the lady who is at the pembroke villas office.\r <br>Every month i find and eviction notice for some other person pushed under my door.I guess the handyman that is taking these papers around cannot read or would like to see me get evicted.lol\r <br>The staff is rude and claims to speak no english so no need to try and get any assistance from there
I'M GOING TO GET STRAIGHT TO THE POINT.THOSE APARTMENTS ARE THE WORST EVERRRRRRR! MY CAR GOT BROKEN IN TO TWICE. THANK GOD I LIVED ON THE SECOND FLOOR BECAUSE BOTH OF MY DOWN STAIRS NEIGHBORS GOT ROBED. TO MAKE MATTERS WORST WHILE MY FRIEND WAS LEAVING MY HOUSE ONE NIGHT WE GOT ROBED AT GUN POINT!!!! I HAVE SEEN A CAR SITTING ON BRICKS BECAUSE THEY HAVE STOLEN THEIR RIMS. AT THAT POINT I FELT THAT SOMETHING HAD TO BE DONE... I TOOK MY EXPERIENCES TO THE RENTAL OFFICE AND THEY TOLD ME IT WAS NOTHING THEY CAN DO ABOUT! THE ONLY OPTION I HAD WAS FOR ME TO PAY FOR A SECURITY TO PATROL MYSELF!!!! DON'T LET THE GATES FOOL YOU, THEY DO NOT WORK AT ALL. ITS EXTREMELY TERRIBLE FOR U TO PAY YOUR MONEY TO LIVE IN THAT TYPE OF ENVIRONMENT... THAT IS JUST RIDICULOUS! NOT TO MENTION, THE STAFF WERE VERY RUDE AND MAINTENANCE COULD NOT SPEAK ENGLISH. THE ONLY REASON I PUT 1 STAR IS CAUSE I HAD TOO, EH!
Such a total disapointmenT these apartments were! I moved in these apartments thinking it would be a great place to call home. I was swindled and bamboozled all in one. First off everyone in the office including the maintenance speaks only one language ""SPANISH"" so they dnt understand anything. I was robbed twice in a 6 month period...and when i called for maintenance to fix my window he somehow manage to tell me he cldnt fix it today...WHAT..are you effing kidding me.. Anywho upon signing my lease i tld them i was not interested in a washer and dryer...just so happened when i moved in the apartment a washer was there..so i reported tht to the office..and of course they let it stay for months on in...then one day...i get a eviction notice saying i needed to pay for the washer...GTFOH...check my lease hoe..i didnt sign for tht Yhit. Now that im gone its been a month and these bitches still holding on to my deposit money..wth...my advice stay far away from these apartments as possible...oh\r <br>\r <br>p.s. they tell you trash is included...thts B.S you have to pay water with trash that will run you about 140$ a month...
The Pembroke Villas can be the right home for a single person and/or family if they were in a different location, the persons selected to be your neighbors have class and the noise levels are kept a minimum. I searched and searched before signing the lease for a review on the apartments and was unable to locate any reviews at all. So I took the initiative to go directly to a few of the current residence and get their opinions. However, they all said it was ok but will be moving upon lease end date. \r <br>\r <br>In addition, as I sat in the office of what will become many times after signing the lease there was a young woman there complaining that her toilet was backed up, she called the maintenance within the last 48 hours with no success for the Pembroke Villas to assist her in this matter as a rental property are legally binded to do. Also, another young lady at a different visit to the office complained of another backed up water. Another complained of noise above them as they lived on the 1st floor with the noise occuring around 10p-approx after 1am and the tenant wanted to sleep as they worked in the morning.\r <br>\r <br>Around the corner is another Pembroke complex that is known for tons of car thefts and personal propery thefts (break ins) in the area of the complex. Now being a resident here at the Pembroke Villas in less than 5 months I too am a victim of persons breaking in my vehicle, a witness of on going noise above, people hanging outside all night with football being played by your vehicles and windows and car being stretched. I reported the incident to the police as well as the office. The office stand in manager/office assistance (spanish lady) replied to me OH YEH, EVERYONE KNOW NOT TO LEAVE ANYTHING IN YOUR VEHICLE! OH YEH THE THIEVES SOMETIME COME, WERE NOT SURE WHO IT IS. THATS A CHANCE. Then after saying those uncany comments to us. She asked us ""How do you like the place?"" We were shocked at this point! \r <br>\r <br>This is to warn and/or give someone who searched as I did before chosing a place to call home something to go on. As i had no review and it evidence that reviews can help a person(s) like myself determine if this is a safe place indeed for myself and family to reside and SLEEP at night instead trying to watch our property which are the things we all work hard for in this economy!!!!\r <br>\r <br>PS: Make sure the water bill is paid prior to you signing the lease and going to place the water in your name for service or the result will be...the office persons asking you to pay the balance of the bill and you will be reimbursed. Reimbursement is a false statement but shows you are desperate enough to do it in order to move in and you will never see that money in addition to them expecting payment of your rent no matter what. \r <br>\r <br>A VERY UNTRADITIONAL PROCESS OUTSIDE OF THE LEASE! If you choose to proceed with this place, be sure to get a copy of all pages of your lease as well. I EXPERIENCE THAT TOO!\r <br>\r <br>GOOD LUCK!!
