WE went to this pizzeria located in Hollywood Florida last week. The service was horrible! Please dont give them any business, they do not care about their customers, they only care about their financial woes. The cook would yell out the answers to our faces, whenever we would ask the cashier a question. The waiter would not give us service, and we had to request utensils, drinks, extra sauce after we received the foods. We did not get our utensils until fifteen minutes after food arrived, and the utensils were plastic (other customers had metal utensils). The other waiter gave us metal utensils, after we requested him to get them for us. Our waiter was scarce. Also, We were quoted .99 for extra sauce from both waiter, and cook (speaking over waiters voice). The large bowl of spaghetti had two tablespoons of sauce over top of it. The sauce looked like water that was colored red (this is why I requested more sauce, since we originally did not get any). The cook nor the waiter would not understand that we did not get much sauce, and made us pay for it. The quote was .99 for extra sauce, and when we received the bill, it was listed as $2.00. We consulted the manager, who claimed to be the 'owner' of this restaurant, and she started 'screaming' that the price is listed as $2.00 in the menu, even though I informed her that the waiter did not give us a menu, but verbally quoted the price of .99. She made us pay the $2.00 price anyhow. Please understand, we were very pleasant customers, and did not create the reason for her screaming behaviour. It is not my practice to engage in screaming battles, because they can escalate to dangerous situations. I like to keep in control of my feelings, and insisted she do the same. I requested for her not to scream at me, and understand my problem. She would not help me, so I just stood there, and couldnt help but notice, that her words were inaudible (sometimes did not make sense). I wondered if she was taking her days aggressions out on my family and myself, since it became obvious who the main problem was with the staff treating us previously horrible. In other words, it became obvious that she and her staff were harrassing us. My son, who gives her alot of his business, since he works nearby, overheard her horrible treatment of me, and came to help me. He was so angry, and nicely informed her, 'You will NEVER see myself NOR any of my business associates in your restaurant again! She clapped her hands, making these ugly facial gestures, and snapped 'good riddance'and 'WE DONT CARE!'. My son and associates have given her over $300.00 in the last month. She obviously doesnt appreciate it! What kind of owner is this? She must be stupid, since she lost business. Where did she learn her business skills from? We were so pleasant, and could not understand this hostile behaviour from herself and her staff. My son was showing off her restaurant to us (his family). She knew we were his parents, and honestly, if she would have been more understandable, and explained about the $2.00 versus .99 cost of extra sauce, we would have overlooked it. We place alot of value on good customer service regarding restaurants, since we dine out alot, and like to have a peaceful and enjoyable time while eating dinner. We also take our friends out to dinner alot, and the attutude really is important to us. We would have overlooked the extra dollar, since one lost dollar is nothing compared to gaining a good place to take friends and have dinner at (which this place is definitely not!). This is why I say she is a VERY STUPID owner! Taking her aggressions out on very nice people (us).
