I took my daughter out to treat ourselves a bit. She received a basic manicure and I asked for the "royal pedicure" with perrafin dip extra. My daughters manicure looks ok. A little sloppier than I would like, but shes happy. They forgot and turned parafin wax off so I didnt get that (which was SOLE reason I picked this place). My special pedicure which was two steps higher than basic did not feel special, but basic and rushed. We arrived 45 min prior to closing and my pedicure ran 10 min beyond closing. They rushed to ring me uo before my oedicure was finished, neglected to turn on my massage chair so I fumbled for remote and activated chair ten,min after my pedi began. It wasnt aweful, but it just wasnt good. Not worth upgraded price ($28 for my pedi). Did not feel like a relaxing treat, which is what I really wanted.
I love Jessina (the owner) and have followed her through the years starting when she was just a worker bee in another nail salon. She does a fantastic job on my nails! I always get the diamond nails and she makes them relatively thin and they look natural. I can even let them grow out 3 weeks before I need a fill-in because it isn't obvious where the fake nail ends and the real nail begins. I've received many compliments on them and several people have asked how I get my nails so shiny and are surprised when I say they're fake. And she speaks good English and doesn't cut up my fingers either. She's the only one I let do my nails (although I will let some of the other girls do my pedicures).
Love it. Every time I go there not just a Nail Salon only but I also feel like I'm at the Spa. The music very relaxing, the atmosphere is very calm, loving, and fun. They always make sure that their customers are satisfied before they leave the shop. I never have to worry anything will go wrong with my nails ever since I've been going to Hiram Nail Spa.
