My daughter just completed a week of horseback riding camp at Manitou Hills Farm. For an eight year old girl who has never been on a horse except the ones at the fair that someone walks around with you, this was an exciting week. The week ended with a show. My daughter was riding, controlling and taking charge of this 1000 pound beast. I have never been so proud. I am very impressed with the skills that she was taught in just a week.
My daughter didn't just learn about riding, but the entire care of horses. This included brushing, saddling, feeding and even cleaning up manure. They taught the huge responsibility that a horse is. They taught that it was so much more than just jumping up on the horse and riding. They taught bonding. The horse and my daughter were friends at the end of the week.
Whether your child is big or small. I would HIGHLY reccomend looking into a class for your child. They are truly the best of the best. They have customers for life.
