We watched this restaurant renovate from the pizza (way too expensive) place with great anticipation. Beaverton-Hillsboro is in great need of some good Vietnamese food; especially around the Cornell area. We weren't disappointed. The price is average - somewhere between $8 and $12 dollars, with ample portions. If you walk out of here hungry, then your appetite is super-sized. We had the salad rolls for appetizers and they were delicious with a wonderful peanut sauce for dipping. The rice vermicelli salads were so addictive and tasty; we are going to make this a regular on our restaurant crawls. Everything we saw was well presented and quite plentiful. The large table acrossed from us, filled with noisy (but pleasant) family members were served in the same curteous manner as the two of us. The hostess is a quiet woman bent on making you feel welcomed and satisfied when you leave. The place is extremely clean and well accustomed with just the right amount of art work and the tables are spaced just right - not too close so you hear your neighbor's conversations. I recommend theThai ice tea - it was great!
This is the best Pho Soup I've ever had!!! I'm American and I was introduced to Beef Noodle Soup about 9 years ago. I was instantly hooked on this food. I've tried many Vietnamese restaurants in the Portland and metro areas. Over that span of time, I thought that I had found the best soup around, Until I discovered Pho Viet in Hillsboro, Oregon. Hillsboro of all places. The city that I live in... So, if you want to try the best beef broth you've ever had in your life, bring your family to Pho Viet in Hillsboro!!!!! Jeff
