Our practice was started in 1965 after Dr. Ralph Williams graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Dr. Williams opened the practice to offer optometrist services in Hillsboro and was the first eye doctor to fit contact lenses in the area. The practice was originally located on North High Street attached to Dr. Williams' home. In 1998 we moved to 934 West Main Street. Dr. Leah McConnaughey joined the practice in 2000 after she graduated. Then in 2011 Dr. Khristopher Ballard joined the practice as Dr. Williams neared retirement. Dr. Williams then retired in September 2011. In 2020 we moved to our current location 925 West Main Street which is across the street from our old office. Drs. McConnaughey, Ballard, and Andre continue the high standards of thorough eye exams in Hillsboro and the highest quality designer glasses in Hillsboro that Dr. Williams started nearly 50 years.
