Subject: Highlands Ranch Goodyear Customer Experience - POOR (Highlands Ranch, CO)

Took 04 Chevy Trailblazer in for Oil Service & Tire Rotation and asked for a couple of issues fixed with dash clacking and rear door buzzing.

Told that I needed $1600 work done for axel, strut and shock work and advised that rear door issue needed the dealer. Wow.

Next day, drove truck and had the dash clacking. Called Manager and asked for "consideration" regarding dash issue that wasnt diagnosed or fixed. He offered to NOT charge me for the diagnostic work ($100) again. Really - "hardball" negotiations with an existing client who just paid you $1600 this week, $500 last week and bunch of other business in the last 8-mos?

Then the topper - manager lectures me on expectations and defending their (poor) work. Can't say they are on my recommended list anymore.

Do not do business with these clowns! Their objective is to sell you tires or parts no matter whether you need them or not (usually not). My son took his car to them with a transmission light-- he was told that the tranmission needed replaced ($3800). He took it to another shop who flushed his transmission and cleaned the contacts on the transmission computer plug. 2 years later, it runs flawlessly! I bought a set of Goodyear tires from them, one of which had a slow leak from day 1. When I took it back, they told me that it had a blistered sidewall and that it must have been the way I was driving it. Later, I took one of the other tires in for a repair for a small nail in the tread. I was told that even though I would PAY for the repair, that company policy didn't allow them to fix a tire if it was worn and that the only option was FOUR new tires-- another "company policy" is that they won't replace only one tire on AWD. I understand that they make recommendations and let the customer assume the risk, but to make it a hard and fast requirement is absurd!
