My girlfriends and I went to Steak Street last weekend when the weather was warm to try their new Bistro area with glass retractable roof. It was awesome! My career keeps me traveling throughout the east coast and I have wined & dined clients at the best of restaurants. Steak Street was by far the best experience of them all! We sat at their fire pit in the most relaxing chairs and enjoyed several of their appetizers... view moreWas this review helpful?Yes No|Flag Abuse
I have lived in Greensboro for four years and have never heard of Steak Street until recently. Unfortunatley, I have been wasting alot of time & money at all the chains. My husband & I were pleasantly surprised at the creativity of the menu & romantic atmosphere. The service was five star and the wine list was very impressive. And they even offer half price wine on Fridays! Was this review helpful?Yes No|Flag Abuse
I totally agree with the comment "uncomfortable seeting", the iron chairs are heavy and cold and hard, how about bringing your own cushion? I just might...the oyster salad was one of the best I've ever had, the oysters were pleantiful and very tender and very small , but each bite was really good. The decor with artificial trees and bushes is old and dated too. The new "patio" dining and friday and saturday specia... view moreWas this review helpful?Yes No|Flag Abuse
Perhaps the guests that did not enjoy the seating should stop back by. Since their visit, the owners have put in extremely comfortable round leather seated chairs that were ordered from France!
This by far is the biggest rip off restaurant I have been to.First of all this place is designed to be an expense account restaurant. Companies paying whatever for dinner. The food is nothing to write home about. Of all the upperscale places I have been to eat, this was the most overrated I have ever been to. I would not reccomend it unless you want to waste your time and money. Was this review helpful?Yes No|Flag Abuse
