I have never experienced such ...

I have never experienced such unprofessionalism. Christi White has no idea of how to run a catering business. She was unavailable after she received the first deposit which is non refundable. She and her staff should not even have a license to cater a birthday party for puppies. She served chicken and gravy at our wedding when we ordered chicken marsala. She said that it's because the chef (short order cook) used rue to thicken the sauce because we requested no mushrooms. She also called the Bride To Be and said "I'm beginning to think you're smoking crack!." Even after the bride said "Excuse Me," she repeated herself with no shame. The servers were wonderful except for Karen who is rude and disrespectful. She came with an attitude and I suppose she is third in command after Christi (owner) and Tracy (manager). She redeemed her self (so to speak) and place the rose petals on the wedding cake beautifully! I would never use the company for anything at all. The food was cold when it arrived. The green beans tasted as if someone poured a bottle of vinegar in them (really how do you destroy green beans!!). Christi said that they used hot boxes and then blamed the food being cold on the bride and groom not eating immediately (which is not true). They are horrible and only care about getting the money. She uses food that comes from Sam's Club and then makes it as if the chef cooked it in a world class chef's kitchen. I worked catering for years and we have never used hot boxes to transport food! We used food warmers and food coolers-the appropriate tranportation applicances for caterers. I cannot believe that she is still in business with the rudeness, unprofessionalism and lying. She will lie to you as if she does not live in the same reality. I cannot imagine what in the world she is thinking. The owner has an aggressive personality, unable to recall REAL conversations and will lie to you as if you won't remember what she said, constantly lying to make herself look better and she did not follow through with promises made (will visit venues, etc.). I would not recommend anyone to work with her. Helen at Royal House is great and this is who the Bride wish she would have used!
