Awesome service. I've dealt with a different transmission shop in the past and it wasnt as good as the quality of service as it was at Habbys. The staff is very respectable, the car was ready in a timely fashion and the transmission is smooth. Not to mention 2 year warentee gave me some peace of mind as well.
I bought an Acura TL off of a customer of Habbys and the tranmission felt great. I had known in the past they do good work and held a great reputation. Upon taking a trip to Pennsylvania a few months later in 100 degree weather the tranny malfunctioned and I knew that it was an oil flow design flaw by Honda on these transmissions but after communicating with Warren he upheld their warentee and fixed the tranny for free. I was extremely happy with their service and would defintiely reccomend them to anyone. Warren & Wayne are people who operate on accountability and integrity.
I had my 2005 lexus es330 in at Habbys transmissions with a check engine lite on. The car only had 50,000 miles on it, so i was concerned about wether i needed a new transmission. we brought it in and dealt with warren and the offered a free check out to see why the lite was on and the found a bad solenoid- they replaced for $300 with a fluid change-
Was very pleased with there service and honesty.
I had my 97 Expedition brought here to have the transmission rebuilt and was charged $2600. After the fact I got quotes in the $1600 to $1800 range from several other reputable shops for the same job.
We are a family owned shop for over 35 years- our business is built on referrals and reputation- each vehicle we worked on is priced out based on part failure- there are alot of factors that determine the price of a repair- warranty, and failure. Most shops cannot determine the cost with-out understanding those factors- and obviously this customer has a price issue with most businesses they deal with- sorry we couldnt make this customer happy like we strive to do!
