I took my truck there to have the battery tested because it had to be jumped off in order to start. The kid who tested it told me the battery was fine and that I probably needed an alternator. I didn't believe him. I took the truck to my mechanic where I was told the cells in my battery were all dried out and any car savvy person should have been able to tell that the battery was toast. The kid at AutoZone told me wrong maybe because his machine was broken, maybe because he's lazy and didnt want to install a new battery in my truck, maybe because he wanted to sell me a more expensive alternator, maybe because he doesnt know what he's doing, I don't know but what should have been a simple $90 battery replacement ended up costing $185 at the mechanic for an expensive interstate battery and running diagnostics on my alternator because the kid at AutoZone doesn't know what a toasted battery looks or smells like. The reason I don't give them one star is because the guy who did a price check for me was polite.

I callled Autopzone Hendersonvile to check on a price. I needed help from a live person instead of the internet and I got ahold of Tommy. He answered my question about the part I needed for my Jeep . Not only did he get the answer to the price and avilabliity but he was so darn nice I could not believe it. He did not push me into ordering it right away but gave me the time thy closed and all the details. So thanks Tommy! You deserve a raise for doing something most should but don't ( acting nice and polite and understanding my problem) :) L Day H'ville
