How to Write Reviews

With most business listings, you'll see a number of shaded stars and links to Rate It or Read Reviews.

1. 1Click on "Read Reviews" to see what other users wrote about that business or service. If you see a review that seems offensive or does not conform to the Reviews Guidelines, please report it using the Report Abuse link that appears next to every review. YELLOWPAGES.COM staff will investigate reported abuse and remove reviews that do not conform to the guidelines.
2. 2Click on "'Rate It" to review the business or service.

   To write reviews, you must sign in to MY YELLOWPAGES.COM. If you're not already registered, register now. It takes less than a minute.

3. 3After you select "Rate It," the User Reviews form appears. Select the star rating that corresponds to your experience with the business or service you're reviewing.
   • 5 stars = Exceptional
   • 4 stars = very Good
   • 3 stars = Good
   • 2 stars = Fair
   • 1 star = I would not recommend
4. 4Enter a title.
5. 5Write your review. Reviews should be at least five and no more than 600 words, and all reviews must comply with the YELLOWPAGES.COM Reviews Guidelines. When you're done writing, click Submit... and voila!

NOTE: If you're not signed in, just enter your user name and password in the Sign In section. Then sign in and submit your review at the same time by clicking on Continue. If you're not a My YELLOWPAGES.COM member, select Register Now and your review will be submitted once you complete registration.

Write a review that describes your experience with the business or service and can help other users make their own purchasing decisions.

Consider some of these questions when you write your review:

• Did you get prompt and reliable service?
• Did the business or service demonstrate their knowledge and expertise?
• Was it a pleasant environment?
• Were you comfortable and at ease?
• Would you use this business or service again?
• Would you recommend this business or service?
• Did you get a good product or service at a fair price?

When you're writing a positive review, be specific. Describe exactly what you like ' the food, the products, the service, the price, the selection ' and why.

Here are examples of positive reviews:

• My family and I go to Sal Smith Steakhouse at least once a month. The steaks and salads are delicious, the price is just right, and the service is always fast and friendly.
• Perfect Pipe Plumbing fixed my sink quickly and also let me know what other problems we might have with our pipes. This smart and reliable service was definitely worth the higher price.

If you're expressing criticism, be constructive. Describe what disappointed you and offer suggestions for how the business or service can improve. You can also let other users know how they can get a better experience from this business or service. For instance, you might suggest how a customer can get the most value from this product or service. You might recommend what to order or best times to visit the establishment.

• Reviews submitted to YELLOWPAGES.COM may be screened to make sure they are appropriate and conform to these Review Guidelines.
