A R F's Spay Neuter Clinic

I was so impressed with the folks at the spay and neuter clinic. They were full of good information, took great care of our cocker, and made sure I went home feeling confident that all would be fine. It was after six days that we noticed Snoopy had redness and swelling so I called the clinic and asked what I should do. They took him in the same day, checked him and sent us home with meds to help the problem. Snoopy is a cocker FULL of energy and staying quiet for 14 days was not in his plan. He chewed the plastic collar that kept him from his stitches, and walking him was in and out every ten minutes. He's use to having the big yard to run in and cutting him back to a walk was difficult. He would "escape" with the other dog whenever he could and we ended up chasing him around the back yard trying to quiet him down. The folks at the clinic gave us something to keep him calm and suggested a dog crate for a week so he didn't have room to move as much. He's been sleeping and playing in the kennel since he got home and he's enjoying himself. We put his blanket in and his favorite toy and he's doing great. Thanks to the patience and wonderful care at the clinic the stress is greatly relieved!! This is our second pet we have neutered at the clinic and they continue to be top notch all the way around!!!
