Gorkowitz Orthodontics

Dr. Gorkowitz deserves the highest rating both for his excellent skills as an orthodontist but for the amazing manner in which he treats all of his patients with respect.

Dr. Gorkowitz has treated my son and two of my daughters for a number of years. They love going to him because he talks to them like a mensch. Dr. Gorkowitz always speaks directly to my children asking how they are feeling instead of speaking to the parents and asking "How she is doing" as other doctors often do. Dr. Gorkowitz also lets them pick out their favorite colors for braces, and tries his best to minimize any pain in a procedure as much as possible.

When accidents happen such as a lost retainer or some wiring getting bent out of shape, Dr. Gorkowitz will schedule an appointment as soon as possible whenever necessary and will often not even charge for these follow-up services.

I highly recommend Dr. Gorkowitz and since I have two more young children plan to use him again in the future, although I hope it won't be necessary ;)

Dr. G (as we call him) is a phenomenal orthodontist. My boys are never nervous or hesitant about their visits. Dr. G engages them and makes them feel at ease. He has a great rapport with patients and parents. Other than Dr. Gorkowitz' personality, what I liked most upon meeting him years ago was that his explanation of dental care, procedures, upkeep and cleaning is very clear. My boys understood all instructions and were able to follow and not be confused. Other orthodontists I met with prior to Dr. G were not as clear. Also, Dr. Gorkowitz will readily answer any questions you may have. The office is extremely clean, modern and welcoming. The front office staff (hi Tricia!) are professional, helpful and extremely friendly. If there is ever an issue, I can call Dr. Gorkowitz on his cell and get immediate attention. Dr. Gorkowitz is HIGHLY recommended by my family.

Dr. Gorkowitz is very knowledgeable and informative as to his work, always willing to explain his proposed treatments and those he is performing at any given time, and flexible and accommodating when it comes to getting me the treatment I need when I need it.

Dr. G is the BEST!! ALWAYS available and always makes you feel at ease. Explains every step in detail so no surprises. Dr. G and his staff have been a pleasure. I wish more doctors ran their practice this way. Flexible payment plans, flexible hours and at the end of it all, a smile you cannot put a price tag on!! Highly recommend!!

Dr. Gorkowitz is an awesome orthodontist! (That was a quote from my son who is 13) We have known Dr. Gorkowitz for over ten years already, still counting, and he has been nothing but professional, kind, knowledgeable, and wonderful to my children. My children always left the office understanding what the doctor was doing, and what they should see in the coming weeks before their next visit. Despite having equipment in their mouth, Dr. Gorkowitz always manages to make them feel comfortable and leave with a smile. I highly recommend using Dr. Gorkowitz as an orthodontist!

I highly recommend Dr. Gorkowitz as an orthodontist. Both of my children were patients of his. He always had time to explain to them, as well as my wife and me what he was doing and why he was doing it. Scheduling appointments were easy and he always kept to the scheduled time – no long wait time as I have had to do in some other doctors’ offices. It is evident that he truly cares about his patients. His easy-going and relaxed manner added much in a positive way. When a wire broke, and this occurred on a few occasions, he saw my daughters almost immediately to correct the problem. He had a plan, followed it and it worked. My daughters each have beautiful teeth and great smiles. If you asked me to describe Dr. Gorkowitz in a few words, they would be: caring, professional and skilled. I have absolutely no reservations about recommending Dr. Gorkowitz.

Very Honest, Professional, Knowledgable and Kind. I took my oldest daughter to Dr. Gorkowitz for a free consultation. Dr. G. did a full set of x-rays and advised to have a few baby teeth pulled to allow her adult teeth to come in straight. My daughter wasn’t completely sure that she wanted braces. Dr. G. sat down with her and explained to her that although she could benefit from braces, that not everyone needs to have perfect teeth and the choice was completely ours. My daughter decided that she was happy with her appearance and Dr. G. never once pushed us to go forward. My second child is currently a patient of Dr. G. and we are extremely happy with her care and her smile!

Great Orthodontist! Have been bringing my kids there for years. He explains everything to them and they appreciate it! Office staff is wonderful. No wait times! Highly Recommend!!!!

Dr. Gorkowitz is an awesome orthodontist. He was always on time, in three years, we never waited. Dr. G took the time to explain the treatment to my daughter so that she never had any fear while he was working on her teeth. He answered her questions sincerely and treated her with the same professional respect he treated us, her parents. We adore Dr. G and you will too! Your smile will show beautifully!

Ok so five stars are not enough. Dr. G is awesome. My daughter since she was little trusted him. She was never scared, and always happy after getting out of the chair. He is honest, personable, explains everything, and keeps the parents informed. His staff is very friendly, especially Trisha! We will always be thankful for him. Thank you Dr. G.

Dr. Gorkowitz is a patient and amazing orthodontist. My son just got his braces off and I was amazed at how beautiful his teeth looked. Dr. Gorkowitz was informative and explained each step every step of the way! He always met me and my son with a smile. He was always helpful when we ever had an issue - sometimes even go out of his way to accommodate us. Another great perk are his hours - he has late hours on Wednesday nights and Sunday hours which is great for working parents! I highly recommend Dr. Gorkowitz!!

Dr. Gorkowitz is a fantastic orthodontist. My daughter was born with her bottom jaw jetting out. Within a couple of years her jaw and teeth has transformed into a beautiful smile. Dr. Gorkowitz is talented, friendly, skillful and can calm a patients anxiety. I was so pleased with his work that my other daughter has gone to him. Already I saw an improvement within a couple of months. One of her crooked teeth has straightened out. As a bonus, he is open on a Sunday which helps those working parents who are not able come during the weekday.

We cannot thank Dr. Gorkowitz and his staff enough for the wonderful job they did making my older daughter feel welcome, relaxed and special from day one. You don't have to ask her because her smile says it all. Second daughter has received the royal treatment now and we know her teeth and smile will be just as bright. Patience is a rarity in today's hustle and bustle world and it pays off more than ever with Dr. G!!

Dr. Gorkowitz has been our orthodontist for over three years. We've just moved onto our second kid last week and couldn't be happier. We found him upon recommendation of our family dentist. He is thorough with his explanation of therapy to both parents and kids, is kind and patient. Always available via cell phone after hours, he's saved us more than once with sore spots or broken wires and brackets.



Tricia, his receptionist is fabulous and happily submits all insurance forms on your behalf. His office accepts credit cards, and offers both payment plans and has monthly debiting services available.



Our eldest is just about done with her braces and her smile is fantastic.; the results are outstanding and we are thrilled. I still can't get over how different and humane her orthodontic experience is compared to mine back when the dinosaurs walked the earth. Thank you Dr. Bernie!!!

Dr. Gorkowitz is really a phenomenal orthodontist, and a person. He is understanding, kind and really cares about his patients. I really appreciate the he always listens to his patients and does his best to accommodates them. I had no troubles during my treatment, and the results were incredible. Also, the payment plan is really great. It helped me pay my braces off comfortably while I was studying full time. I highly recommend Dr. Gorkowitz!

Dr.Gorkowitz has been our orthodontist for 6 years. One of my sons needed braces when he was only 8 years old and Dr. Gorkowitz provided amazing care. He is compassionate, kind, and patient. If there has ever been an emergency for either of the boys, he has met us in his office, no matter what the day or time. He explains things clearly to my boys, as well as to me. I have taken my 4 daughters to Dr. Gorkowitz - all with varying levels of necessary orthodontic work. Dr. G has a kind way with the girls and explains everything he is going to do along the way. He never makes you feel badly for needing his services during off hours -- even if it is your child's fault for breaking a brace or bracket. The office runs very smoothly - and appts. are honored at the time scheduled; Gorkowitz does not overbook or triple book. Lastly, his office staff is lovely - which sets the tone for the whole experience.

Yes, I would recommend Dr. Bernard D. Gorkowitz for Orthodontics. I was his patient for 3-1/2 years. He makes an accurate diagnosis and provides all information about the procedures step by step. He explains everything in detail, on how the teeth will move to his exact diagnosis. Dr. Gorkowitz is a professional, that cares about his patients! You can call any time if there is a problem, and he will accommodate you as soon as possible. Dr. Gorkowitz cares about his patients, he goes beyond the call of duty to satisfy his clientele! Dr. Bernard D. Gorkowitz IS THE BEST in my book. I wouldn't have the best looking teeth if it weren't for him! He know what he's doing, a TRUE PROFESSIONAL!!!!
