this place is aweful they lied to my mother from the beginning and told her there was one owner and there wasnt. we went to a different carmax in raleigh nc and find out the truth about the car and trying everything we can now just to get the car sold or takin off her hands.

They sell over priced lemons. Their autocheck tells you nothing of the vehicles service history, even though they claim it is better than a Carfax...yes because it's a cheaper report and tells you 1/2 as much!

Also all of their vehicles were leased/rentals for the most part...which means beaten up cars that are ready to fall apart.

They gave me the wrong vehicle. They gave me an unregistered uninsured motor vehicle

Just so everyone know NEVER go to Car Max! A friend told me they would be able to do the emmisions on my car, ok cool. I got there and they guy that was going to do it talked to me like I was some sort of idiot, whatever. So they take the car around to their spot. 35 MINUTES later they come around to me and tell me they cant do the emissions because their machine isnt working. So after all of this it never even got done. I have been watching them on the camera the entire time standing around doing nothing but fiddling around, in, and under my car. I get it back and I now have a cracked carbon fiber hood, cracked front bumper, smashed carbon lip, a new clutch that is now slipping like its got 500k on it, and my transmission is grinding like crazy. I get into my car and my glove box is open and so are all the other compartments. All of my belongings are moved around in my car. I call the manager, they said they are reviewing stuff and whoul call me back later that day then hung up on me. I called back 3 times and everytime I got ignored or the phone mysteriously disconected. I never got a call back so now I have to go through a mess of stuff to get my car fixed that they broke. So apparently they treat their customers like crap, lie to you, go through your personal belongings, do literally THOUSANDS of dollars in damage to you car, then ignore you when you call them out on it hoping if they igrnore you you will just go away.
