The car I bought from a big-name local dealer got hit and totaled by a teenager. The insurance company paid off my loan, and gave me what was left over, which wasn't much, but it was just about enough to cover a used car if I did my homework first. I didn't want to get another car loan, so I went looking online for a good, cheap used car from a dealer who seemed honest. After a bit of research, I went to Below Bluebook first, and I didn't need to go anywhere else. Kevin, the owner, is a pretty straightforward guy. He has two mechanics on staff who know what they're doing. And the most important thing about them is that they stand behind their merchandise. If they miss something while looking over the cars they put up for sale, they will make it right. One of the front tires on my car must have lost a weight, and it was making the wheel shake, right after I bought it. I didn't know what was wrong, but was afraid the wheel was going to fall off. I texted him from a parking lot. I had my baby in the back seat, so I was kind of freaking out about it. Kevin sent the mechanic out to where I was, and he checked it, told me a tire was probably out of balance, and then asked me to bring it in the next day. They not only fixed it, but they also put new brake shoes on it, which I hadn't asked for. I've driven that car 1000 miles, and it's still going like a champ. I've looked it over, and am satisfied that it will hold up well for me and my kids until it's time to get another car. Let's face it; a used car is USED, so it's never going to be perfect, but you CAN find a reliable used car if you buy from the right dealer. I am extremely happy with the value of the car I bought. They offer financing, but if you can save up a little bit of cash, you probably won't need it. The next time I need a car, I'm going with these guys. They have proven to be trustworthy and professional, and THAT is the most important thing to consider when you're looking for an inexpensive used car.
Was surprised to see nothing but negative comments when i had nothing but an excellent experience. Well only people who had bad experiences leave reviews anyways. So i decided to be one positive reviewer for these guys. I bought my 16 yr old his first car from these guys about a month ago now and we haven't experienced one problem out of it. We dealt with Dwight and he was very nice and professional. Not your traditional dealership but we got what we came for a quality vehicle at a cheap price. Hopefully more people come leave positive reviews. They said they sell tons of cars so 4 bad reviews out of "tons" of customers isnt so bad i guess.
In response to Janae. She bought a truck 9 months ago that was sold to her in great running condition. Very nice truck at a price well below market value (about 50% below) thats why she dediced to buy it. She didnt service the vehicle at all within the 9 months she owned it. Now when its time to get the vehicle inspected she wants me to pay for for things that she has failed to routinely maintain over the last 9 months. In this business you run into some unrealistic individuals im learning. Mind you she still drives this vehicle daily and it is in good running condition.
Sounds like someone didn't get what they want and now have to bash a company that helps people with bad credit. I have heard many good things about Credit Connection in Harrisburg. If people had better credit they could go to a Bob Ruth dealership and get approved the first time.I would refer people to any Credit Connection location.
I went in for brake and rotor replacement. The mechanic Jose discovered that I had a leak on my transmission high pressure lines. He gace me pricing and had the parts delivered quickly. I was scheduled the next for the 3hr repair. Cokes saved me an easy $225.00; compered to the dealership qoute.
All and all I had a good trip to Credit Connection,we got 2006 Ford f150 pickup from them...we could not find a decent 4x4 truck at any other of the in house finacing lots our truck came with a warranty that we have not need to use yet.
