Budget Rent A Car

What an awful experience. We booked online with a coupon. When we arrived the gal attempted to charge us more than the quoted price before discount and would not honor discount. She stated this business is not part of Budget nationally. WHAT...we booked through budget.com. As we waited another customer returned a car and in chatting with him, he had had the same experience we were having. Never again.

Krystal was amazing! My children and I are coming from overseas. We landed in San Antonio and I rented a vehicle from the San Antonio office to drive to McAllen, TX. When calling the Corporate Office about an issue I had with the drop off location (which was to far for me to drop off and have someone pick myself and my children up) they seemed to give me the run around. The Corporate Office never gave me a straight answer on what I was asking and kept transferring me to a manager which went straight to voicemail. Needless to say, they never returned any of my phone calls. I was sitting in this vehicle paying the one way rate waiting for one of these managers to call me back. When I talked to Krystal in the Harlingen office (my drop off location) and informed her about my situation, she tried her hardest to help my children and I. When no one else would help and things started to get stressful in dealing with the Corporate Office from the morning till the evening hours, she turned a bad experience into a great one. Plus her and the manager at this office fixed the rate I was being charged while I was unable to get a hold of a manager at the Corporate Office the very next day! Which in turn helped me in affording a few extra days by giving me a Great Deal!!

** When being without a vehicle do to it being shipped from overseas... the stress of renting hotels and trying to figure out how you re going to get around is overwhelming! All while money is tight and you have three children counting on you... Krystal you were my LIFE SAVER and I appreciate everything you did for us. Thank You!
