Skin Deep Clinical Skincare, Salon, & Day Spa

Made an appointment and visited this salon as a Valentine's Day outing for myself and my "date." We chose the salon for its upscale atmosphere and intimate nail spa area where you share a bench while getting your toes done. In the waiting room we found all the refreshments empty and although the staff filtered in and out of the room no one replenished the drinks or coffee. We were particularly parched so this was an inconvenience but we didn't think too much of it. When my manicurist came to get me, I asked if my "date" would be joining me and she said no, that they did not have enough room. For a Valentine's Day spa retreat I was very disappointed and she said there was nothing she could do, basically wished us better luck next time and ushered us out the door. My "date" was my mother who drove 3 hours from Dallas to join me for a Valentine's Day out and I was beyond embarrassed. As I had booked these appointments in advance, at this point all other salons were booked for the day and we ended up going straight home. When I emailed and FB messaged the salon in regards to my bad experience I never received a response which furthered idea that this salon is just not up to par. I will not recommend this salon to anyone. Very very disappointed in their customer service and attitude towards clients. Zero stars.

Skin Deep is a wonderful place to go and spend a few hours pampering yourself. I was referred by a friend who has been going to Skin Deep for about a year and she never shut up talking about Skin Deep so I decided to go. I got the essentials package and everything was great. I plan to go again soon.

I have been a client of Skin Deep since June of 2007 and would not trade my massage therapist Joanne, my hair stylist Heather, my nail girl Jennifer and my facial lady Jo for anything, they are the greatest; always very attentive to my needs! Lately I have been experiencing terrible customer service from the MANAGEMENT team. I have noticed that they have a high turnover rate. The manager walks around the facility looking down on clients and the employees as if they owe her something. I also believe that the training being done to new technicians is not adequate; they do not seem prepared to be offering services to paying clients. EXPERIENCE speaks for itself. I have been receiving massages and facials for the past 20 years and I can tell when someone has not been trained well or does not have the touch to do their job correctly. If things continue the way they are and the customer service does not improve im afraid that I will no longer be back.
