        After avoiding back surgery by the use of chiropractic care in 1965, I have dedicated my career in chiropractic to helping people overcome pain, disability and suffering without the use of drugs and surgery. Dr. Beno began his practice in Petoskey in 1973. He specializes in Applied Kinesiology (www.icakusa.com) a form of diagnosis using muscle testing to examine how a person's body is functioning. The atmosphere at the Beno Clinic is totally patient-centered. Our staff works together as a team to find more effective ways to treat you. We are caring, competent, cheerful, focused, and dedicated to giving you the finest, most thorough work-up and care possible.         Overall

        I am an advocate of good chiropractic treatment and went to this office for an examination and adjustment. Dr. Beno applied Kinesiology techniques to diagnose my problem, an alternative form a medicine believed by some, not by me. Afterwards he took me to a table for adjustment and tapped my muscles a few times and said I should feel better. It was the shortest visit ever, and the worst treatment I have ever had.

        Putting Humpty Dumpty back together again!

        As a new patient my experience was a "10". Dr. Beno and Linda are thorough and compassionate. Their joy of life is shared with everyone that walked through the door. May the good Lord continue to bless you with the gift of healing and caring.

        Timing is everything

        I live in Royal Oak and was in Petoskey for the Christmas holiday when my lower back went out. It was Christmas Eve day, and fortunately Dr. Beno was open. I've been to quite a few chiropractors over the last 25 years, some effective, others not. I was particularly impressed that Dr. Beno uses kinesiology to determine which areas of the spine are out of alignment. He was thorough with his testing, explanations and adjustments, and was quite funny too. I enjoyed my treatment from Dr. Beno and more important felt relief immediately when he finished. I'm happy to say that I now have a family chiropractor in Petoskey, thank you Dr. Beno.
