This place has delicious crab imperial. The best I've ever had. They use jumbo lump crabmeat and it is so moist with a delicious sauce! Their crab cakes are delicious too! Will definitely be going back again!

This was one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in many years. Being from a New England seaside town, I always have my doubts about "inland" seafood restaurants but I was pleasantly surprised here. The hostess greeted us cheerfully and offered us a choice of table or booth. Our very professional server (and later evening bartender), Josh, was always there when we needed him yet did not hover. The prices were reasonable and both the atmosphere and the decor made us feel as if there were a dock right outside the door! Above all, every menu item we ordered was fresh, perfectly cooked, beautifully presented and flavorful. We WILL be back!

Our son and his new wife recently held their wedding reception at Bay City. The staff went above and beyond what we expected. The food was fantastic and the staff was great. Our guests were very impressed. The staff was very professional and took care of everything right down to the smallest detail. I have absolutely no complaints about Bay City!

We have had a wedding reception, an 80th birthday, 2 40th birthdays and a funeral wake there and folks let me tell you that not only were the people friendly and courteous the food was some of he best we've ever had. Most of the people complimented us on our selection but some gave the ultimate complement in booking them as well. We've never had an issue with Bay City nor has anyone we know. So, to the person who had a going away dinner it is a shame for you but I can assure you that it wasn't the norm.

My husband and I went there with two of our friends. Our one friend ordered clams and got oysters, our other friend ordered flounder stuffed with crab meat and received the flounder only, my husband ordered the prime rib which was tough and had a strange taste, then we had to ask to have rolls brought to our table and by the time we received them we were more then half way done our meal. We took our friends there for a going away gift because it looked like a very nice place. But I guess looks ARE DECEIVING.

Not a place to take the kids. The dining room is way too smokey. We asked for non-smoking and our daughter spent most of the meal coughing because of the smoke. The smoke penetrates the air and makes your food taste like an ash tray. It was so overwhelming that we left before finishing our meals.
